Good Morning Calif....

 Yah, I know, you all thought I fell off the face of the Earth. Truth is, my computer did. I dropped my lap top around two weeks ago and After a few hours in the ER the doc told me, I broke the something on the mother board. (I took it to the Geek Squad) I am not sure I beleave them and might try taking to some other place before I put it to rest. I do have this computer. (My PC) but mostly don't use it. Therefor, I have not been on line much. But never fear, I am around.  I was thinking about seeing if Stevie could take a look at and fix it. Or tell me if it is the mother board. Hey could not hurt.

So I am feeling much better, and I think I am ahead of this weather. My allergy meds are working and I can now walk with out thinking of getting on a DD's O2 tank. Which is  good thing. LOL

Nothing much going on. I might be spending my holiday with my friend and her family. DD is going to spend with my other sisters. This is the frist time in 9 years that I have Thanksgiving off. I am not sure what to do with my self. LOL

My nephews frist day of work yesterday and he said it was the longest day of his life. He had to read P&P for 4 hours.  I almost fell asleep listening to him. But hey, its a start and I am sure things will change for him and next week he will start complaining about all they are making him do. LOL

OK time to get me some coffee and jump in the shower. I wish you all a great day. Be sure to let me know what you have been doing. Since I have not been on line in week.

We sure do miss you when you're not posting Lu, the morning just doesn't seem to start out right!  So glad you're back and you're feeling good too.

Heading to Cupertino for a training class with a co-worker today.  I am going to get educated on a computer program for posting jobs!  Who hoo.  I love that.

Not much else new in my neck of the woods.  Hope you all have a wonderful day.

good to hear from you again!  I am on the road again.  It was actually hot yesterday (85).  I am feeling a little sick this week.  My head has been congested and stuffed up (go figure) I am taking some over the counter tussin.  Hope it clears up fast.

Barb is right Lu.  The morning is just missing something when you're not in it.  Something about seeing you here in the morning makes my day better. 

Sorry about your laptop.  I fried my old one a year or so ago when I decided it looked thirsty and poured Diet Coke all over it.  Guess that stuff wasn't good for my computer either.  Just fried the poor thing and no amount of resuscitation could revive it.  But I have my new one (well not so new anymore) and it works just fine.  I keep diet coke away from it.  Probably cause I've switched to Dr. Pepper.  Will I never learn???? LOL

Glad you are feeling better.  Me too.  The prednisone did the trick again, but now I have to see how long the results last.  So far so good.

My little Snowball is officially healed.  I know this because this morning he decided it was time to try to have sex with my arm again.  The 29th cannot come soon enough for that little one to get snipped.

You should come with us on Thanksgiving.  I think you know where we are going and I think you know that the place we are going to would so want you there.  It's just a big ole open house kind of thing and besides it being wonderful for me to get to spend Thanksgiving with you, it would be wonderful for them too because of all that has happened.  I know, cryptic, but read between the lines and you'll know what I'm talking about.  Besides, I think I probably will text you about it in a few anyway and you'll know then.  LOL

 Good Morning Lu & Cali Peeps;

I have not been here too much.  I am actually getting bored with the computer and everything else I have done since having my hernia repair on the 26.  Getting ready to leave for the surgeon's office now to see if and when he will release me for work.  I am kind of hoping he will give me off all next week as well, but as life goes, I could sure use some $$.  I have only received $85 since I have been off from SDI.  On the other hand, I have been going in to the office on occasion and doing some work from home, therefore I have some hours built up for an added check when I return so that I can do some Christmas shopping.  Thank goodness my employers are good this way or Christmas would have no gifts this year, but yes, it would be all about family and that makes me happy.

My employer sent me a message this morning stating that he misses me and needs me.  Funny that they can leave for 3 weeks on a China cruise and I not need to contact them for 1 thing.  The get back and I am in surgery and they can't handle anything.   I miss them and my job as well, but seriously, they own the business for 30 years.  Think I should ask for more $$ or there better be a better bonus check this year.   

Well, time to get moving to make my appointment.  Hope you all have a wonderful day.  It is cool here in Lakewood and the fog has lifted.

Well Lu, I have to agree that I miss your posts when you are not here too! I am glad you are feeling better.

Just more of the same old thing here. I spent the morning with my grandkids and we had a lot of fun. My son is off today so when he woke up I came home and I need to do some filing. I would rather be playing with the kids!

Tomorrow is a Christmas shopping day with my friend Tillie. I have a doctor appointment in Modesto and we are going shopping and have fun. We are going to go to Manteca too. They have a big Bass Pro shop.
