OMG! I am just to sleepy to be up. Not even the coffee is working. UGH!!

GOOD MORNING CALIF...

So I work this weekend, and this is my schedule day, and I don't want to go in. All I want to do is sleep. I can't seem to get ahead on my sleep. I took a 4 hours nap yesterday and still stept the night away. Maybe I have that  sleeping sickness?  Mono? LOL

So nothing great to talk about really, just work work and more work. At least I don't have to work over time anymore to pay the bills. DD got a small part of her money released yesterday and she can pay her own bills. This week I work Sat, Sun, Mon, off, tues, wed, work thru, off Fri Sat, Sun and mon. So get a four day weekend next weekend. I get to sleep. LOL Next weekend is the Mission Inn Run, and this is going to be the first year I have missed in 6 years. Well at least right now, I don't plan on even walking it. I would need to stop for a 4 hours nap. lol

So what do you have planned for the weekend? Anything fun? With the holidays coming up I am sure families are planning get togethers and parties. Right?

OMG, on the news right now, they where talking about some christmas tree farm start cutting there trees yesterday, to ship out. No wonder they die so fast. This is to early. Give them a few more weeks to grown and freeze. Dang.

OK time to get moving and get my butt in shower. I wish you all a great day/weekend.

Good Morning Lu and Cali Friends...

Lu, prayers answered and DD got some of her money.  So glad for you and her.

This weekend is the beginning of the holiday season craft fairs and my friend Linda and I will be out in full force!  I love going to look and get ideas and even a little Christmas shopping done if I see something I must have.

Rain is in the forecast for tomorrow, so I may work on my new Christmas yard art pieces.

Not much else happening in my neck of the woods.  Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and remember to do something nice for you.

Lu so glad you can back off on the overtime and DD can pay some of her own bills.  I remember when my DH was laid off, if was tough but we somehow made it through!  God does watch out for us!

Today is cleaning, as we are having a early Thanksgiving on Thursday at my house. We will be gone for thanksgiving and wanted to see the in laws and treat them to dinner.  I fly out tomorrow for Park city Utah.  It is supposed to snow so I do not think I will be going out much while I am there.  I am already packed.  Just finished Ms V's laundry and have to get her clothes ready for school next week.  I am officially back on the road!!

Good Morning Lu, and Cali Peeps,

I'm so happy to be off work. It was a busy few days, and my body hurts, especially my left hip. I walked around with an ice pack most of the morning yesterday, also took the forbidden Advil(when it gets to hurting like that, Tylenol just doesn't work). I don't have to much planned for the weekend. Just the usual stuff, cleaning, grocery's, cooking. I vote on being lazy and becoming one with the couch. Looks like it is going to be a nice day. I'm planning on going for a good walk. I was going to go to the gym but seeing as I was couped up inside the last 3 days, and didn't see any sunshine. Walking outside sounds so much better. Here's to a great weekend everyone!!!!

Barb, have fun at the craft fairs. We don't have many of those around here but I love going to them.

Dolores, be careful in the snow next week. I am not a fan of the snow.

Eileen, I go with being one with the couch. I have laundry and stuff to do too. That is about it for the weekend. I went to my friends sons soccer game this morning. It was cold!

Good afternoon everyone,

Well it looks like I missed morning again.  But being as it is Saturday, I don't really need to look at the clock and that is the way I like it.

Not much planned here this weekend.  We did go over to the Vet's this morning to see about getting a different medication for Minky.  The one the doctor gave us makes him foam at the mouth, start to gag and then he throws it all up.  Well after having spend $286 on Wednesday they wanted another $86.00 for a different medication and then wouldn't credit us anything on the original meds.  I was just so angry.  Needless to say, I couldn't afford another $86 so we are going to have to figure something out.  I just don't know how to get these antibiotics into him.  It is frustrating to say the least.

I will do some laundry this weekend and that is probably about it.  We went out for a nice lunch today so will probably do nothing special for dinner tonight.  I'm in the middle of reading The Girl Who Played with Fire.  It is the second book in the three books written by a swedish author.  They are making the movies now.  The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is first.  That book was so excellant and this next one is no different.  I was able to download all three of them to my Nook so I can just read one after the other.  I really love my Nook.  For those who don't know what it is, it is the Barnes & Noble's version of Amazon's Kindle.  Basically the same thing.  Just the Nook had a few features on it that the Kindle didn't that I liked better.

OK, time to do.....ummmm..nothing.  I like that.  Hope everyone is having a great day.  Lu, good to hear that DD got some of the money.  Not enough yet, I assume.  Keep me posted.  Enjoy your weekend everyone and don't forget to turn those clocks back tonight.

Does Minky like peanut butter? Put her medication in some peanut butter and see if she will take it that way. I hope Minky is feeling better soon.

Elizabeth...thank you for that idea.  I'm going to try it.  He's doing better thanks to the shot he got at the doctor the other day, but he's far from all better and I have to get some medicine into him.  I will let you know if it works.
