Big CONGRATS on your upcoming surgiversary.

At 16 mos. out, I know it is hard.  I don't have nearly the energy you have, and for exercise, that stopped right around 6 mos. after surgery.  I have had some time to think recently and I really do need to get back to the reasons why I had WLS in the first place.  Food is not so much the problem, although there are a few things I can change.  My biggest issue is exercise.  Once I am fully recuperated from my recent surgery, I will be purchasing a 24 hr. membership and looking into some sort of adult volleyball league.  There has been no weight gain, but I have been stuck at 112 lbs. lost for the past 3+ mos.

You truly are an inspiration to me and others here on the board.  Congrats again.

Peace, Love & Hugs to you, Anna, & Miss Alanis

Hey Gus! Congrat's on your five years! You are so right about habits and exercise... I wish I would have done a better job with that!

I wanted to give you a "Like" but I can't do that here!

You've done incredibly well, and you deserve to be proud of what you have accompllished.  You have many motivators to keep you focused....especially this one.

Alanis will be able to have her Daddy walk her down the aisle when the time comes because he loved her enough to take care of himself.   You are an extrordinarily blessed man to have a wife and daughter that love you!!  Never forget the thousands and THOUSANDS of people would do anything to be in your shoes!!

Happy Surgiversary and continued blessings to you and Anna!!
