I got my date for surgery

I just heard from my Doctor and they are going to do the surgery and it will be on the 10Th of December and I'm so happy now

Congrats!!!!!!!!!! I am so happy for you!!! We should be having surgery around the same time! I go for my consult in ventura on the 30th of Nov and I will get my surgery date that day. I was told it will be within the first 2 weeks of Dec.....I cannot wait and I know you have to be so excited!!!!!! Please keep me updated on your progress....

I remember the emotional rollercoaster  from the time I got my date to the day of surgery was a really wild ride.  It will be here before you know it ;-)

Yes I have two groups I goto one is once a month and the other is 2 time a month.

It was hard to get to this point as i had to jump thru all the hoops to get hear so it should be all down hill from hear on  

Congrats on your surgery date. I noticed that your surgeon is from Pacific Bariastic, how long did you have to wait to get you date from your consult? I have my consult on the 17 of this month and was just trying to see how long my wait might be. Thanks

I had my 3 in1 appointment on 9/1 but I had to do some other things before I could get my date.

 I had to have my hernia repaired and a echo done of my heart so after i had my hernia fixed on 9/17 and a month later I had to see Dr Rumsey for him to sign off and say OK that was on 10/18
and today I got my date. so I had extra thing then most but the first person in my group had hers on Tuesday and she didn't have that much to do like me.

Oh one other thing you will have to wait for 21days before they will give you a date as they (the three Doctors) put there notes in and sign off.   if there is nothing else you have to do before they will give you a date

Congrats on your date!  That is so exciting.  I just went for my consult with the three doctors on Monday, November 1st.  Everything went great and Dr.Taller is my surgeon.  He is really great and very thorough.  I asked him and he said they were scheduling for the beginning of January.  I am sure it is different for each surgeon because i specifically requested him.  The office surgery coordinator told me that it would be in December but I guess we will see.  They have 21 days to contact me for surgery date.  I am a teacher and really wanted it around my x-mas vacation but I guess I will have to wait and see.  Keep us posted.  When do you go for pre-op?  I know we completed all of our testing but do they have you come in the day before for additional labs and paperwork?

yes I have to go in on 12/9 to do paperwork and se the doctor that which will put me under and from what i'm told I'll be on liquids all that day. 

I have no more test that I know of.

after the 21 days I would be call them a few day after that but they are back-up with a lot of people  so stay on them
