Burbank vs. Glendale

I am having my surgery with Dr. Keshishian at Verdugo Hills Hospital.  I have contacted the doctor and he gave me a couple of recommendations.  I am going to contact the hospital this afternoon to see what they recommend.  My question is which city might have the best rates and is there areas I need to stay away from in Burbank. 

I went back and read recent posts on this board and on DS board and thank everyone for their information.  Hate keep asking but my surgery will be in December which means three times higher rates due to holiday.  So car rental, airline ticket, etc. all play into the cost.

Again, thank all of you for your help and I am sorry if I am getting on your nerves but really need the advice.

I can't really say what are the best rates in Burbank or Glendale however, Burbank is a really nice area and I can't think of a certain area within the city that you need to stay away from.  Maybe I am being biased since I grew up in Burbank. lol 

If I had a choice of hospital's when I had my RNY I would've selected Providence St. Joseph's Hospital hands down.  I had gallbladder surgery there in 2002 and the surgeon and staff there were great.

what kind of hotel are you looking to stay at? I live about 30 minutes from there so I may be able to help me if you tell me your budget. Verdugo Hills hospital is off the 134 freeway as you are getting closer towards Eagle Rock.

I just pm you.  Thanks in advance.  I am open to staying anywhere close to Verdugo Hills Hospital that is reasonable.  Anyway, as reasonable as it gets around Christmas.
