Good Morning Calif.....

Welcome the weekend with lots of smiles and hugs. This is the best weekend of the ones that I work. DOUBLE TIME!!!

I will be working on a different unit, so today should be fun. I don't work there often, so its going to be a nice change. YEAH for me. I am hoping its an easy day and yet a fast day. I am already thinking of my bed. I changed the bedding yesterday and WOW was it all snuggy.

So other then work, I don't have much going on around here. I got a bag of candy for DD to pass out and I think she might have eaten most of it already. Its just a small bad of mixed stuff. So the kids should be happy with getting a small handful of all kinds of stuff. We get about 20 kids here and that is pushing it.

Barb......do you get a lot of kids? I bet you do since you do up your house and that seems to draw everyone. I can not wait to see them pictures.

Mommy......OMG that picture of Ms V is tooooo cute. Great job Mom...The schools around here do not let the kids bring candy. They get pizza or taco bar. The seem to like both so either makes them happy. But if they do pizza, they bring in the toppings, and make there own.  Same with taco bar.

Eileen......I had my 7 days off and trust me, I didn't want to go to work yesterday. LOL. I liked being lazy. So how did the party go? and what did everyone think of you costume? Why was you nervous about wearing it?

STEPHY......Hey I sure wish I was going with you, cuz like I told you I have never been. But we will get there one day sooner or later. So where are you all going to break your fast this morning? I hope you all have a great time today, be safe and dont for get that tomorrow, I will be asking WHAT DID YOU GET ME????

Nancy......hey its about time they are moving on getting the knee replaced, I know it will be alot of work for him, but in the long run he will feel better. Yap DD is doing much better, now to get her off the cough. UGH!!! She has learned to like just sitting around, doing nothing.

Liz..........OMG I am so sorry you was not feeling all that happy, but I am so glad to here you are doing much better now. That is good news. You are so lucky to have the babies so close by that you can enjoy this time of the year with them and now have to travel to do it. Or travel far. I hope you are able to get some pictures of the babies and share them....

Ok time to start my IV and get my coffee running wide opening. I wish you all a great day. Please be safe and PLEASE PLEASE watch for the kids running around tonight. Think of them as you drive along, because you know they are not thinking of you or your car.

Good Morning Lu and Cali Friends,

Have a great day at work today and I hope it goes really fast for you.

We get between 50-75 kids on Halloween, which is enough to keep us running.  Lots of fun and we're looking forward to it.

Today we're going to do a little shopping in the morning and then Nancy and Lon will be coming over for dinner and dominos.  That ought to be fun.

Tomorrow we'll head out to Costco as I think my step mom wants to get a new tv and Ron will set that up for her when he takes her back home on Monday. Of course we have Halloween so I have to think of what we'll have for dinner tomorrow, needs to be quick and easy cuz the kids start coming early.

Good Morning,

The party last night was a lot of fun. My costume turned out really well, so well actually, that most people didn't reconize me. I thought that was pretty funny. I have worked with most of these people for nearly 8 years. I even managed to wear the heels for a bit, but I was smart and brought an extra pair of shoes. My poor feet aren't used to wearing extremely high heels. Everyone costumes were good. I haven't been to to many halloween parties. It is kind of dreary here. Great day to lay around on the couch, but i have to finish cleaning the house and get the groceries. I don't have any idea how to post a picture to the post. I will post one on my profile. I hope you all have a fabulous day. I must get off my ass and get busy.

Hello Lu and Calin Well we are in the city for the day. Lots going on, taking my FIL out for lunch. Then going to see my MIL and drop off Ms V. What a day, we are going on a Halloween cruise, it should be plenty of fun and dancing! Well lunch is almost here better get going.

I am feeling much better, but since I have only had liquids guess what else I have. Thursday is Ryan's 4th birthday and his party was today and I had to leave. I bought him a small size guitar and he loved it. He loves music. He is not ready for lessons yet but he still loves insturments. Lu send me a friend request and I will approve it and you can see my babies pictures on my site. I don't have them open to everybody. They are so cute if I say so myself!

Ok, so it's almost Sunday and I'm just getting here.  Better late then never.  Today was a terrific day.  Mike and I headed up to Big Bear about 9AM.  I, of course, got a bit of motion sickness on the ride up and back down.  I always do.  Once we are up there and I am out of the car, my tummy settles but, yuc****il then.  Anyway, hit a lot of fog on the ride up and then it started to clear and there was a very nice amount of snow on the ground.  It was so cold when we first got up there.  By the time we finished breakfast it had started to warm up a bit.  We walked around town and went into all our favorite little stores.  We thought about going down to the actual Octoberfest festivities at the convention center, but they were charging $12 just to get in the door and then you had to buy additional ticket books for everything.  We decided it just wasn't worth it to do that. 

So around noon we headed on down the mountain and took a detour over to Oak Glen.  I got some more apples and peach and cherry salsa.  Yum. Then we headed for home and I spent the rest of the late afternoon and up until about 1/2 hour ago finishing the book I was reading, The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo.  If you haven't read it, OMG it is so good.  I just bought the 2 other books in the series and loaded them to my NOOK so I can read them. Really REally Really good.

And now I'm going to watch a bit of TV and then head to bed.  So I hope everyone had a wonderful day and have a great day tomorrow.  Enjoy Halloween.  Stay safe.
