I made it home today and it sure feels good to sit in my recliner without back and tailbone pain.  Walking to get the gas out of the system, so far so good.   Surgeon wrote a RX for pain medication but it counteracts with my paxil which could cause seizures.  Good think I am not in pain, but still want the med just in case, so I am waiting to see if a new RX is written.

Currently waiting on hubby to come home and help me shower.  Oh, the little things we take for granted.  Just having my hair washed will make me feel like a Mil. bucks.   LOL

Hope you all have a wonderful Halloween.  Please don't scare the little ones.  If you are headed to a halloween party tomorrow, please be safe and have a DD.

Thanks again for your continued well wishes and prayers.  They are very much appreciated.

 Hi Everyone,

Thank you all for your well wishes here and on FB.

Currently I am still in the hospital and should be released to go home tomorrow.  Woo Hoo!!!   I need MY BED and regular furniture to sit on.  Hospital bed is killing my back and tailbone.

Walking around now, no oxygen mask since this morning or leg compressions.   I am eating well.  Only problem is that with the walking comes gas.  I never had this with my RNY and forgot what gas pains feel like.   OMG I don't remember my labor pains being this bad.  This too shall pass.

Incision is drying so it pulls and the cut itself hurts as the hernia is up high near the breasts.  The muscle you use for everything.  So it does hurt when I get up or go back down.

Finally was able to brush my teeth today and received a sponge bath.  OMG I thought I died and went to heaven with the sponge bath.

Thank you again for your well wishes, I hope to be home tomorrow.

Love and hugs to you all.

I did not know you were sick.  I am glad you are better.  It is the little things in life that are great...your own bed, being clean...

Take care...

It sure is good C'ING LESS OF ME!

We could learn a lot from crayons:
some are sharp, some are pretty,
some are dull, some have weird names,
& all are different colors....but they

ALL exist very nicely in the same box.

Hi Annette..great to see you posting on OH again...sent my best wishes thru FB but wanted you to know I'm still praying for your quick healing and even quicker return to home.  As with the WLS, walking is the best remedy for the gas...gets things moving LOL  Have a great weekend AT HOME! ^_*
Hugs
