tummy tuck questions
Make sure you use a surgeon who is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons® (ASPS®). These surgeons have 3 years of training in plastic surgery, and is a very good indicator that you're going to be very happy with your surgical results. Looking up this name on Google will get you to at least on site, where you can locate one of their certified surgeons near you. Costs may very widely. But, don't settle on the cheapest price you can find--those prices usually reflect a doctor without this certification. You should see their logo on web sites, business cards, etc. One local surgeon does take payment from Kaiser--the amount they would charge for a panni. If you want any help from your insurance company in paying for plastics (if available at all ) you'll need good documentation from your doctors. Any doctor visits concerning infections from excess skin, etc. should be well documented, including photos by your doctor. DAVE
