Good Morning Calif....

I am up and moving early this morning. I had to take my littlest Fur Baby to see the Dr. He has allergies. and will have to take meds when his sneezing is bad. Thank Gosh!!! its was so nothing, and easy for us to take care of. The vet tech said that kennel coffee is bad right now. And he has even put on 2 oz. He is a big boy now. LOL

Yesterday was busy at work but I am off for the next 3 days so its all good. And now I can relax for few days. ROLF.

DD  has  an Dr. appointment today and we will see how things are going. We are still looking for a wheel chair for her, so we can get around without having to stop every 10 feet for her to rest. But so far no luck. We are going to ask her Dr today about getting. Maybe we can get a break. Keep your good thoughts for us.

So thats it for me......


Steph..........so what was wrong with your car? did they make it all better. Or just blow it up? LOL I will let you know about you asking your sister to do us a favor, I am still holding out for one more person, they might know someone that has/had one, and will let me know, so I will let you know. Thank you for checking into this for me.

Barb...........so are you going to Jury duty? I hope for you that you don't have to sit on one. Let us know.

Mommy..........I can't wait for the picture of you and DH and Ms V she sounds like she is going to be way to cute. In either of her get ups. I am working this weekend, so I can wont even get to see the kids around here. Not that we get to many.....

Elizabeth.......some mornings the kids whine when its time to get up. And If they get a second, they crawl back under the covers. Snotts. I agree about having to sit on the jury, I think we should be able to pick one that sounds good to us.....Think that would work?

Susan.........I love sleeping or snuggling when its raining. Nothing like staying in bed and just listening to the world. What kind of new (used) car did you get? and what are they going to do to it?

Good morning, well almost afternoon....

I have been busy at work while you were sleeping.  You are such a lazy bones.  LOL  Anyway, let me know what kind and what dosage the Vet put the baby on.  My OJ is riddled with allergies and I really don't know what to give her.  This is disgusting, but sometimes she has sneezing fits so hard that she literally blows out the other end.  It's a total mess when it happens.  You can't even get mad at her because she honestly can't help it.  Can you just imagine sneezing so hard that you poo yourself.  Ewwwww

Anyway, car is all fixed.  They finally found what was wrong with it.  Fuel Pump.  I also needed brakes and brake fluid was almost gone.  It all came to the lovely sum of just over $1500.  I'm fit to be tied about the sum and know I could have gotten it all done cheaper someplace other then the Ford Dealer.  But after it having been to 3 other places and no one could find what was wrong with it, I was left with no choice but to pay the price to get it fixed.  I keep reminding myself the car is all paid for and I have to be greatful that the car is now running well again and I have no car payment. I also have to be greatful that I had the $1500 to pay for the repair.  As soon as I get some money together again, Lu, we can take my car on a road trip now.

Let me know about the wheelchair.  I would think that now that DD's disability case is all settled she should qualify for the chair on her Medicare or whatever it is that she will get now.  The doctor I would hope should be able to tell you.  Let me know though and I'll keep looking as well.

OK, back to work for me.  Hope everyone has a great day.  I think we are actually seeing some sun today.  What a terrific difference.

Peek-A-Booooooo!

Me here.  I've been out living life.  Home computer on the fritz.  Joe was home for 7.5 months after his shoulder repair and he was on the computer all the time.  It over-heated and now won't stay on much.

We got a new puppy.  Actually, my Maggie had another litter of 10 pure bred labs and we kept a chocolate male.  Dozer.  He is now 3 1/2 months old and MOMMA'S DOG!!!!  We lost Jezabele 6 weeks ago and Dozer has helped fill the holes in our hearts.  And it's funny - we think Jez schooled Dozer in on some of her amazing quirks as he's demonstrating a couple of them.  His amazing ability to beg looking cute, maintaining eye contact even if you turn around.  And how she used to sit with her front paws crossed. 

We went to Wyoming hunting for 2 weeks and had a blast.  We brought back 2 mule deer and 4 antelope and are having it processed into pepper sticks and jerkey.  Gave 1 deer to my in-laws so they'll have meat this winter and ease the burden a bit.

Lost 18 of the 22# I gained.  (I actually gained 42, but 20 was intentional because my hubby said I was looking like an anorexic crack ho and asked me to put it back on)  I did.........but forgot to stop!  So I have 4# left to get to my goal.

Lu, so glad you found out what was wrong with your fur baby and his allergies are getting taken care of.  So glad you were able to take care of it easily.

I called at 11:30 a.m. as instructed and I am excused as served for two years and didn't have to report YIPPEE!!!!  I am so happy cuz I really didn't have time now.

MoMo it's great to see you posting on OH, we have so many newbies that could really benefit from your wit and wisdom, I hope you'll check in more often.  Hope you might make it down for the Nor Cal Loser's potluck in Dec, I'd love to see you as I know the rest of the "losers" would!

Lu- I so wish I had known you would need a wheelchair. 2 came with my house, and I just donated them. I so would of sent one to you or even driven it down to you. I hope you can find one soon, or that DD qualifies for one for free.

I'm done work for the week, sort of. I signed up for extra on Thursday, but if things stay the way they are right now, I won't be needed. Part of me wants to work but the other part of me doesn't. Tomorrow I'm headed to a baby shower. It seems like every other person at work is pregnant. It will be nice to hang out and not have to answer a call bell, or the telephone or put up with cranky doctors. Not much else going on. If I don't work Thursday, then I'm off for 7 beautiful days.  Not a lot planned, except a Halloween party Friday night. It is being put on by the Trauma service from the hospital. It should be fun. I'm going as a vampire and my costume is totally out of the box for me, so are the high heeled shoes. I'm sure I will be barefoot before the end of the party. Well, its almost time for bed. I hope you all have a fabulous Wednesday.
