My mom passed
I am feeling very down for the couple of months. My mom had been sick for a couple of months. It was like a roller coaster ride she would a little better and than go back down again. she ended up with kidney failure pneumonia, kidney stones heart problems, and blood presser was really low.She died on the 7Th of October. She was only 73. I miss her so much. I am sure it will get better but right now i feeling so down. And i am also gaining weight. Thanks for listening i just need to vent. God Bless Patsy
Patsy,
I'm so sorry for your loss. I will keep you in good thoughts and prayers. I can totally relate as I lost my Mom and Dad in May of 2001, 6 days apart (and they had been divorced since I was a year and a half old). What helped me greatly was to focus on the fact that neither one was suffering any longer... they both died from cancer. I tried to think of the happier times and experiences that both gave me. I am an only child, so the holidays were rough for me, but each year gets better and i realized that I needed to keep busy beginning in Oct. So just about this time (or a little earlier) I work on my yard art for Halloween and Christmas. It has been SO theraputic for me. I am here for you with an ear if you ever need it. Just know we all care and are just a click, an e-mail or a phone call away.
Huge hugs my friend.

I am sorry for your lost. It takes time, my mom passes in 2001 and I still sometimes break down and cry. What got me going, was thinking about what she would want me to do?
Praying for u and your familz. God bless

Dear Patsy, so sorry to hear of your loss. I can relate to you so much. My dad died in 1975 and my mom in 2001 and not a day goes by that one of them does not enter my mind. Especially with my mom. I always want to grab the phone and call her to tell her what's going on and then I remember I can't. So I do the next best thing, I talk to her anyway. The pain of the loss will lessen over time and it will get easier. Or as easy as it can. Eventually you will even find the way to replace the tears with laughter and joy when remembering all the good things about her life and how they impacted your life before, now and in the future.
Be well and reach out to your loved ones. No one better to reminisce with about your mom and her life then all those who knew her and loved her as well. Be well and take care of yourself. Your mom would want you to do that.

I understand. my mom passed on oct. 17th of pneumonia also. She just turned 72 on the 4th. she has had severe health issues all year. I am an only chid and she was my best friend. Yesterday was her memorial service and today I have been in a daze.
I do get a lot of comfort knowing she is in heaven and well now. my loss is what is going to take a long time.
may God bless you and comfort you.
