Dropping in to say hay!!!

So after finishing the Long Beach 1/2 I go sick. Well, I was sick durning the run also, but as we all know. If I don't admit I am sick, I wont be. OK that didn't work for me this time around. I end up missing work on Tuesday and went home early on Wednesday, or went to urgent care. Yap, admitting I am not feeling great.

The doc told me I had "Stomatitis" and that its swelling and redness of the lining of your mouth. It can cause painful sores that can make it hard for you to eat, drink, or swallow. Stomatitis may be caused by a viral or bacterial infection. When I told the doc that all I wanted to sleep. She told that was the viris, oh great, and that this could last like 2 weeks. Flipping GREAT!!!... She say that one of the ways this could happen is eat/drinking something to hot. I love my soup HOT! so that might be it. 

Oh well, guess it just the way the ball bounces this week. I know I have been under a lot of stress with DD and everthing else going on.

Oh heck Lu, why didn't you tell me you were sick.  I could have brought you some "HOT" chicken soup.  OK, that was a bad joke.  But I bet you chuckled just a little bit.  Huh, Huh, a little chuckle.  Just an itty bitty one.

Anyway, ok, so maybe no chuckles.  But I'll send you a huge hug instead.  You know one of my arguments with you is that you never take care of Lu.  You are always taking care of everyone else and not yourself.  Maybe this is "His" way of saying, Luana, stop for a minute.  Stop and take some time and care of the one that really matters.  Because as I've said to you time and time again, you can't take care of everyone else if you get sick. 

Just please feel better and do whatever the doctor told you to do.  See I know that about you too.  You'll only do what you think is necessary because what do the doctors know anyway.  Slow down please and put an ice cube in that soup.

Hey Girl.........

that hot soup remark made my month water. I still LOVE MY SOUP. I just dont eat as hot as I like. It so hard to believe that a few cuts on my month could knock me on my a$$. I have been sleeping for the past few days. Today I woke up early and took my pills (like a good girl) and went back to bed. LOL...I don't go back to wor****il moday, and even that seems like its going to be to long. LOl

I love you for how much you know about me. But this time you are wrong. I am taking my meds just like the doc told me to. But I am not taking the pain meds. They make sick to me tummy. So I am just taking acetaminophen for the pain, and using the oral pain stuff. So now I know I can not take T3...UGH!!! But will all the other stuff, I am doing just as the doc has order...I am getting better with age.....LOL

Love ya...Hay I will get my days to you soon, so we can play are girls day picking apples.

Just feel better please.  I did look your disease up and it says it mostly effects children.  So now I know, you are a little kid. hahahahaha  But it also said it's very contagious so you'll want to be really careful around DD.

So you'll be really proud of me though.  I actually took my butt to the doctor this morning.  Surprise, I'm back on prednisone again.  My asthma has just been so bad and getting worse.  So steroids and antibiotics for me for a while and then we will see what happens.

Hey, does Mikie have a wheel chair? we are looking for one for DD.  Some thing is good condition that she can use for a little while, or for life.

If I don't look up what is wrong with you then I can't properly yell at you when you don't do what you are supposed to do.  DUH

As for a wheelchair....hmmmm.....let me ask him when my prince wakes up.  It's a little early for him right now.  Heck, it's early for me but do I sleep past 5AM...not on the weekend.  What is up with that anyway????  I don't think he has a wheelchair, but who knows.  I'll also ask around and see if I can find one. My sister might have one.  I'll actually call her later just for you.  I only call her when I have too.  LOL  Just kidding.  I just spoke to her yesterday.  I will let you know what I find.

I woke up early this morning also, (at 5 AM) of course I would have been sleeping all day if DD hadn't woke me to see if I wanted to cook her something to eat. @(A$Y@!)#!)#* I bet you guess my asnwer to that. She had to cook for her self, but so kindly left the mess. She thinks I am going to clean it up, just wiat. When she wakes up, I am going to tell her to clean, so I can cook for myself. HEHEHE...

You know my feeling on the whole cooking and cleaning for oneself issue so I won't restate it here.  But I agree with you, @(A$Y@!)#!)#*.

I asked Mike about the wheelchair.  Apparently, believe it or not we do not have one of those, but let me get with my sister and see if she still has one.  I know she did but I don't know if she borrowed it, rented it or actually bought it.  I'll find out though.
