I can not remember when was the last time I was on line, so.......
Lets See DD came home on Saturday, her son Tyler picked her up and stayed with her until I got home Sunday afternoon..
I left for the Long Beach on Saterday morning. But by 10 am I was whipped out. I was up and going on at 7, went and had a friend french briade my hair. Then I went and visited DD and then I went and go gas and had my jeep washed. My Cyndi was here at 10, and off we went. We wondered around the expos for a few hours and then wondered around town was back to the hotel by 6 where we eat our dinner and kicked back. The hotel had a van that took us to the Start line and picked us up. So we go to sleep in until 5:30. The start was CRAZY!! everyone trying to get to the head of the class at once. I was up against a pole and still people where trying to push me back. I had to yell at a few to stop, the pole would NOT MOVE!!!!! Once the race started and it started to thin out, it was not so bad, Somewhere I lost Cindy and after wiating for 5 minutes, I thought maybe she was ahead of me. She didn't have her phone, so I couldn't call her, So I just kept going. I finish in about 3 hours. My best time ever for me. Cyndi was a bit further behind thing I thought, It took her about 4.5 hours. She was hurting because of her toes. She broke them about 2 months ago. Over all it was a fun run, and I can't wait for next year.

I wish you all a great day. Today DD has a couple of Dr appointments, and once again she is not able to drive and Tyler had a few interviews so I took the day off. I want him to keep his appointments, and I wish him the best of luck wth getting a job.

Hey Lu and Cali Friends!
I have been wondering if everything was ok. I am so glad that DD is home. I hope she continues to do well. I am also happy that you had a fun weekend.
Last Thursday night my son called and asked me to come and spend the night with Ryan because they were taking Devan to the ER. I had them Thursday during the day and she was alright but she started throwing up after Lisa got home. She could not keep anything down and she was throwing up while she was asleep. They took her to Valley Children's Hospital in Madera. She had the stomach flu. They gave her medicine and sent her home. She was doing better Friday. Saturday morning Lisa woke up and started throwing up and by Saturday afternoon so was Chris. They were so sick. I went to a Tea in Manteca Saturday but my DH called me and told me they were sick so after I dropped my friend off I went straight to the kids house. I spent Saturday night and most of Sunday at their house. They are all fine now. This stomach flu is really nasty and going around. Luckily Ryan has not gotten it and I hope he doesn't. I hope I don't either. I am just so glad that we live in the same town so we can be here when they need us. They are always here when we need them too.

I've been worried about ya, gf. Glad to hear you are ok. Good job on the 1/2 and excellent to hear that DD is home. I'm sure you are all happy about that.
Nothing much to tell here. Just go to work everyday and then come home and relax. Then do it all over again the next day.
Oh, but our weekend was fun. We all had a nice time up in Oak Glen on Saturday. Picked a small bag of apples and got some Peach Salsa from my favorite farm stand. If you ever get up there, go to Mom's. They jar some great stuff. Lu, you and I will have to take a drive up there one day. It's really just so nice and peaceful up there. Anyway, then on Sunday was the 5K Choc Walk. It was cold and wet out. All in all a good, busy weekend.
OK, time to get comfortable as it is 7:15PM as opposed to the morning. Better late then never. Hope everyone had a nice day and hope you all stayed warm and dry. Nasty weather we are experiencing.
