Still Sick

 Hi Everyone,

Have not checked in for a while.  I have been under the weather for over 2 weeks.  This kind of put a damper on my birthday Wednesday, but it is, what it is.   Upon returning from my weekend in Newport Beach I felt even crappier.  Went to the Doc's on Monday and had chest x-rays done.  Not a big fan of Lakewood Reg. Med. Center (Hosp).  Good thing my surgery is going to be at Los Alamitos Hosp. if I get the clearance on Monday I need.

Well, X-ray was clear so I had it re-done yesterday.  Received a call from doc at 5pm and I have a touch of pneumonia.  I just knew there had to be something more than asthma / cold.  Now I have to take an anti-biotic for 7 day but the kicker is I can not take it with calcium, iron or multi vitamins.  So I have to remember to take it immediately upon walking in the door.

This is the last week my employers will be in China.  My job gets done and quite well.  However, that being said there needs to be some major changes upon my return from medical leave or I am going to start looking for a new job.  I love my job, and the people I work for, but the people in the office need to pull their weight for the amount of $$ they get paid.  Personally I would just love to get rid of the other office lady and get someone with the knowledge of the ALPHABET (NO JOKE).

Well, I will post sometime on Monday if I received my clearance for surgery.  I am scheduled to have hernia repair on the 26th @ Los Alamitos hospital.  Since coughing for 2+ weeks this thing (I call it my alien) has grown significantly and is really bothersome and causing a bit of a BM problem as it is my bowel coming through the lining.  TMI - I know, but now you know what I am talking about and to cough I have to hold the hernia or yell with the pain.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Friday.  I am at a seminar today and yes I am feeling better.  Just very croupy right now.  Drinking plenty of water & hot tea trying to break up the flem.

Well, it's about time to get back to the Seminar.  Today is Managing Multiple Projects & Priorities.  As much as I like accounting I seem to be liking HR more and more.  Actually considering becoming a certified HR specialist on one of the web sites that was given to us.  Sooner or later I will need to find other work.

Enjoy your weekend, hug and kiss a loved one.

Annette, I hope you feel better soon. If you still have pneumonia you don't need to have surgery though. You need to be over it. Keep us posted!

We could learn a lot from crayons:
some are sharp, some are pretty,
some are dull, some have weird names,
& all are different colors....but they

ALL exist very nicely in the same box.
