Good Morning ...Welcome to MONDAY

Good Morning Calif.....

Today wont be such a manic monday since its a holiday, so tomorrow is going to be twisted tuesday, part monday and part tuesday ...that is why I am going to stay in bed all day...lol

Last night after work, I went up to see DD and we watched Amazing Race together, so I didn't get home until after 9. Then the "kids" wanted to play and would not calm down. I didn't get to bed until after 11 then I could not sleep. UGH!!! This morning I think I slept wrong my shoulder because this morning it hurts big time. I should stay in bed, but today is double pay. I will leave with the pain fore that.

Yesterday the doctor told DD that she is might have to stay in ICU for a 4 or 5 days. Then she would just go to another step down and that she might be in the hospital for two more weeks. Gosh I feel sorry for her. How borening that would.

Elizabeth......sound like you all had a great time up on Apple Hill. Did you get any pictures? I am sorry that DH is still hurting, what did he do to his back?

Eileen......how was your last day off. I think you and I work odd weekends. This was my weekend to work, and I think you work next weekend, Right?  Yap, DD is feeling a bit better, but her O2 Stats still drop when she is off O2. Last night when she would talk to much it would drop like a rack to low 80 a few times it even went in the high 70. Hope that stop soon.

Lynne.......what time do you wake up? dang girl, you should try sleeping ....

OK time for a shower and more coffee.....

Good Morning Lu and Cali Friends,

Lu, so glad DD is continuing to do better.

As Elizabeth said, Apple Hill was SO much fun.  It was very busy on the hill this weekend, because the weather was so nice but we sure did have fun.  We had such a nice lunch together as a group and then rallied at various points on the hill which made it fun.  There were some great crafts and wonderful fruit and sugar free goodies.  We spent the night in Pollock Pines and then took the Mom's to Red Hawk Casino for breakfast and playtime!  We all came home with the money we had and then some, so that made it fun.  We played the slots for about an hour and a half.  Then dropped Ron off at home and took the long way with a stop for lunch to San Francisco.  By the time we dropped my Step Mom off the Blue Angels were flying overhead and boy was that loud.  So we quickly headed for home before the crowds started heading for the bridge! 

Last night I finished painting skeleton #2 tonight we should finish them and I will do pics and post them they are SOOO cute.

Well that's about it from our neck of the woods.  Hope everyone has a great week ahead.

Why did you say that dirty word Monday, Lu.  Couldn't you lie to me and tell me it's Friday.  I love you anyway.

Not much done over the weekend.  Very quiet, stay at home kind of weekend.  Although we did go to our favorite little Thai restaurant in Beaumont last night.  OMG, that place is so good and so reasonably priced.  So it made for a nice end to the weekend.

Well time to get busy here.  Hope everyone has a great day.  If you don't have to work...I hate you. LOL  Seriously enjoy your extra day off.  And for all us worker bees, it's one day closer to Friday.  Have a good one.

Yup its monday! LOL Hubbys off today though and still gets paid for it! ( love federal jobs, LOL) I cant beleive the kids are in school though, I remember having today off but, I guess its another sign times have changed!!!

Im so jealous you guys had a great time in Apple Hill!! I got stuck doing my sisters yard sale ( she was here for a few min then left) then had to rush hubbys aunt to the airport in fresno, a horriable experience, I hate yard sales!! I love going to them, just hate having them, I really dont have the patience to deal with stupid people and people who want something for nothing..

Anyway, im putting off painting the bedroom for a few days my knee is killing me so im going to try later in the week, As for today, we arent doing much of anything but goofing off,and being lazy, LOL I got hubby into playing wii fit so thats what we will end up doing most of the day, LOL

Good Evening All,

Just a quick note to say hi. Work hasn't been to bad, but I will be happy to get out of here. Just another 21/2 hours. Back tomorrow, if I'm needed. Part of me is hoping they will call me and tell me I'm not needed, but the other part of me is hoping I work, so I can have to extra money.

Lu- I hope DD is feeling better today. Sucks she will be in the hospital for a few weeks, but better place for her right now. Hate for them to send her home, just for her to have to come in. You work every other weekend? I don't any specific weekend. We pretty much just have to work 1 weekend day per month. Thank goodness for a weekend program. I did work everyother for years. I like it this way much better.

Well, I should get back to work. Time to go and turn my patient. I hope you all have a great evening.

I do feel bad for DD. I would go crazy being in the hospital that long. They would end up putting me in the psych ward. I hope she continues to get better.

My DH is feeling better today. Originally he just twisted a little and his back went into spasms. It would get better and then go in to spasms again. He has back problems off and on for years now. This is the worse it has been. It is all muscle though.  

I had a great day with the grand kids today. They were both in really good moods. Ryan had pre-school until 11:30 so I had special time with Devan this morning. She just babbles away. I think she will be a Chatty Cathy. Ryan talks all the time too so I will never have any quiet around them! LOL
