Cedar Sinai?

Hi guys! Haven't been on the boards in a while, but I live up in LA now so wanted to know if anyone can recommend a good post op gastric bypass surgeon for my f/u needs who is associated with Cedar Sinai?  Thanks! Kim

Dr. Nishi.... at the Khalili Center. 310-858-1242. They worked with Cedars but started their own center but still work out of that hospital. I love Dr. Nishi... highly recommend him.

  Dr Khalili did my surgery but the problem for me and alot of other patients is after they left Cedars they are no longer preferred providers so my insurance won't pay for any Bariatric related care including office visits or follow up tests they prescribe. So I pay out of pocket for in office band adjustments but when I had a recent problem, my  insurance won't pay for any tests. As a lapband patient, I'm screwed. Cedars program still hasn't added any Drs to their program to replace the 3 who left.

I had my surgery at Cedars because that's what my insurance required.

My doc is Philippe Quilici. His office is in Burbank. 818 848-8311.

But I don't think he's officially part of Cedars' bariatric program. Good luck.

I just had surgery at Cedars Sinai with Dr. Miguel Burch. First class experience in every way. I feel great.. Cedars has an amazing program and Dr. Burch, *****cently transferred here from Boston will soon be a very popular choice in the bariatric world of LA (or anywhere).  Really amazing!
