I had my sleeve done yesterday. I'm doing pretty good. Feeling a bit more discomfort today than yesterday, but doing fine. Tomorrow  actually get to look at my new stomach on flouroscopy. I am having some issues with gas pains from the gas they used to inflate the abdomen, but am walking and using a heating pad, so that helps.I'm looking forward to tomorrow...

Take care and CONGRATULATIONS welcome to the Loser's bench! WEIGH to go
I am now a revision after lapband complications. I had many complications with the lapband and now am learning to be a proud SLEEVER!
This is a tool not a cure all or the 'easy way out'. There is work to be done, I'm in!

I too would like to offer my congratulations and welcome to the loser's bench. Keep us posted on your progress. The gas pain will pass eventually! (get the joke!) Take care!

Congratulations and welcome!!! Try to get up and walk to move that gas through (it's a pain for sure) and remember to sip, sip, sip.

jmas~
Congrats!!  Welcome to the Loser's Bench. I, too, had trouble with the gas. No matter how much I walked it just got worse. Finally, I was given something for nausea and it helped the gas pressure, thank God! Hopefully, you'll be at the Nov. Luncheon in Concord and we can meet. Everyone is so supportive and positive.

Hi There, I just had my sleeve done on 10/15/10 and have thankfully not had the gas issue. I am taking Gas X in the form of dissolable little papers (mint flavored), maybe this would help you. Sorry you are having trouble-each day it will get better
