kdizzle not feeling well

We both had surgery in Fremont on Wednesday, and met up while I was walking the halls today. She's not feeling well, and hopes to spend another night in the hospital, but as of about 4:00pm she still hadn't seen Dr. Hahn. Send good wishes and prayers her way please, for a speedy recovery!
Thanks, Nita

You are so sweet to think of your surgery cohert... my prayers are for both of you... once you get home things will start getting better as long as you give your self time to heal, and follow your doctors orders... I found sleeping in a straight chair to work the best for a while.  Oh and also don't forget your pain meds... I didn't take them at first and I was just being stupid.

Take Care

Thanks for your good wishes! I'm doing really well, no complaints so far, except, "Wow, protein tastes bad!". I walked around the block this morning, and am working on getting my liquids and protein in. Other than that, I'll just take it easy. I'll be watching for Kristen's posts, and hoping she's feeling much better today.

Congrats Nita!  I had Dr. Chu too.  I just visited her Monday to deliver my 1 year out photos.
What a difference a year makes!   Glad to hear you are doing so well and tell Kirsten we are praying for her to feel better.

I will second the pain pills and sleeping in a recliner for the first week or so.  You body needs to be free of pain to really concentrate on healing.   Also swear by an abdominal binder.  Kaiser will provide you one you just may have to ask first.

Scootin' on over on the losers bench!
