Good Morning Calif.......

Its Saturday morning and I have to work this weekend. OMG!! Its so hot right now its not even funny, this means that today is going to be hot also. It never cooled down last night.

Yesterday, walking up the mountain was so much fun. Some how, I made it to the top (everyone did) it just some of us longer. I was in the last group of four, but I was not the last person, there was two others behind me. LOL... It was great fun and I guess there will be another walk in a few weeks. If I don't work, I will be there also. It was that much fun. We got to the top before it was to hot, but the walk down was killer hot.

There is only 20 days left before Long Beach 1/2 marathon. I think I am as ready as I can be and I know I will fini**** and with some luck, much faster then last time. If you remember, that was when i had problems with my back and was told NOT to run it. Plus I had chest cold a few weeks before that settled in my chest. Yap, I finished that run, but that was just about it. It was not pretty. After the run, I spent a week not moving why I was on ice pack. After a week, I went to the doc who still yells at me when I go to see him. LOL

Well, coffee is done and I need some. I will post pictures when I get the chance. That might be next week, but  I will post them. One week from today is the coffee in redland. Can't wait to see every one.

Good Morning Lu and Cali Friends,

Congratulations Lu for making it to the top of the mountain, I just knew you would!!!  Hope the day is an easy one at work.

Today brings transporting the cake to Hollister (about 3 hrs) and we'll be keeping the air condtioning going in full force because heat and cakes don't mix!!!  Fortunately, the site is air conditioned and we will be putting extra dowels in the cakes for support.  While the design wouldn't have been my choice, I think it will look fine and appreciated by the bride and groom.

Well, hope everyone has a great day and remember to do something nice for your self.

Good morning Lu and Cali,

Wow I can't believe how long its been since I have been here.  You couldn't have told me that there was a time I wouldn't be here daily.  I'm going to have to do better.  I miss everyone and the fellowship of the board.  There is no better understanding than here.  Congrats on your climb Lu.  I love the mountains so just being among them is inspirational.  Nothing like the view from the top.  Good luck on your run. 

As for us we are headed to L/B coffee and then to find a lil birthday cake for Grandmother (Bappy according to Jordyn).

OK, Lu, I'm very proud of you for making it to the top.  And I'm thrilled you didn't hurt yourself. I know I'm like mother hen, but I just love ya and worry about ya.  So now it's on to the Long Beach 1/2 for you.  Good girl.

As for me, my not much planned day has suddenly become busy.  I do have work to do for a client, but I need to get over to the grocery store.  I was informed by my wonderful better half (note tongue firmly planted in cheek) that we are going over to a friend's house this evening for dinner.  Oh, now isn't that wonderful.  Oh yea, and we (meaning me) are cooking and bringing the whole meal.  LOL I've got to love that man or I'd have to shoot him.

So on that note, I've got to go get dressed and out of here.  Hope everyone has a great Saturday and fabulous Sunday.  Really enjoy your weekend.

Hello Lu and Cali,

well I am finally having a day at home.  It is very nice for a change!!  I have been gone for 21 of the 25 days this month.  At least the family was with me for most of it.  We had a great vacation in So Cal and Mexico, now we have to get ready for a 50th anniversary part for my in-laws.  We have two weeks to get the house and yard in order.  House is not too bad but the yard need help.
