TGIF! TGIF!..

I don't know why I am so happy about it being Friday, I work this weekend. Sucks!!!! But the good thing about working on the weekend, NO BOSSES!  Now that is always a good thing.

Today I am walking up the mountain, that I have already been cleared for STEPH. I had to be medical cleared before the county would let me walk up this mountain. Like I said yesterday, this is with a ton of other county workers. My friend Cyndi came over last night and spent the night, she is going to walk up the mountain with us, or try anyway. My partner in crime at work, Judy, is also going to wakl up with us. I don't know how many of us there is going to be, but I am taking my camara and will take lots of pictures. We are going up to the top and then we are going to do tia chi. Don't ask where the county comes up with this stuff, but hey if there are going to pay me, I am there!!.

OK time to get some coffee down me and get myself moving. That mountain wont wait for us. Or will it? LOL

Good Morning Lu and Cali Friends,

Lu, you have a wonderful time climbing that mountain and doing your tai chi!!!  I'll be thinking of you while I'm baking cakes!!!

Today is cake baking day, 8", 10", 12" and 14" rounds, 2 each.  Then base frost them, add the garlands and edging, flowers each as a separate cake.  Then tomorrow it's drive to Hollister to the wedding reception site and assemble with the cake topper which will be waiting.  No pillars just 4 cakes piled on top of one another.  We will be dowling the cakes so they don't collapse on each other.

Tonight we're going out to dinner with my sister in-law and brother-in-law, not too sure where yet but I know that's on the agenda.  They leave back for Canada tomorrow morning. It sure seemed like a fast visit.

That's about all the news fit to print from my end of the state.  I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend, and those that are having their surgeries in the next week are able to relax and prepare for their wonderful journies ahead.

OK, no lectures today about mountain climbing.  All I'll say is have a good time, but PLEASE listen to you body.  If it says, "Luana, STOP" then please do that.

So nothing great planned here today.  Just another day of work and then on to the weekend. Of course nothing much planned for the weekend either.  I do have to start on some work for a tax return that must be filed by October 15th, but I'll just get started on it.  Don't have to give my whole weekend to it.  If I do some now and little during the week, I'll get it all done in plenty of time.

Well, time to get busy here.  Hope everyone has a great day and an even better weekend.  Have some fun.

Good Morning Lu, and Cali Crew,

I swear I could go back to bed,I'm so sleepy this morning. The coffee is ready and calling my name, but I'm to lazy to go and get it. Today brings, phsycial therapy and then meeting a friend for lunch. Tomorrow, I work, what fun. Then tomorrow night, a co-worker is having a birthday party. So I might go and check that out after work. No plans for Sunday as of yet. It is supposed to be hot here this weekend. I'm not looking forward to it. It is fall now, it is supposed to be cool out. Not much else going on around here. I hope you all enjoy your Friday, and if your working it goes by fast.

I had Grandma and Devin time this morning while Ryan was at pre-school. Then we picked up Ryan and Devin fell asleep in her high chair eating lunch. Chris came home and I got to leave early. Now I am going to go pay my credit card off at Dress Barn. I just love that place.

Lu, I hope you have fun walking up the mountain.
