DD's Hearing today
I know I will not be up and moving early tomorrow, so I thought I would give all the 411 on todays events.....Steph already knows, I texted her as we walked out. She has been since a wonderful friend. Thank you Steph!! You rock as a friend and that is why I love ya!!
OK so we got to the "court room" at 8:15 and met with the "Lawyer" and he spoke with DD for about 15 mins. He explained that a Dr, whom she has NEVER seen, would be on the phone and he would give his take on DD's health. If he thought DD was disabled, they would not have to ask DD or me any questions. If his take was not that great, then DD and I might have to be questioned. UGH!!
When we walked in the door, DD was swarn in and then the Judge ask DD a few questions..........
Q : Does she had a DL?
A : Yes
Q : Can she drive?
A : Yes
Q : Who does she live with?
A : My sister, as she pointed to me.
This took about 3 mins.
Then the doctor spoke about all that is wrong with DD
The Judge asked him Two questions...
Q : Was she disabled in Nov. 2008?
A : Yes
Q : Is she disabled today?
A : Yes
This took maybe 10 mins, inclueding him going over her medical files....
Bam!!!
The judge then stated:
I agree, Mrs King, you are permanently disabled.
The judge ruled for DD....
the whole thing took about 15 min, bot counting the lawyer time.
OMG!! SHE WON!!!!!!!
