Hi Elizabeth,

Isn't is awful losing a fur baby?  I knew about Teaka, sorry for your loss as well.  Gracie will learn to adapt to being called Teaka and just think that you are a silly woman that loves and feeds her so it does not matter what you call her.  LOL   It will take time.  I keep looking for my Sam to be on the side of the bed when I get up in the morning and he is not there.  When I go outside to smoke I still hear his nails scratch the flooring to the back door when he comes out.  This will take some time. 

The hiring of new employees is no big deal.  It is the current projects we have, the part time dummy, and the owners that interrupt me every 5 minutes.  I wish I had an actual office with door on it.  That would solve many problems and allow me to get work done.

As for maintaining my weight loss, it amazes me that I have not put on some serious weight.  This morning I weighed myself for the 1st time in well over a week and I lost 2 lbs.  Go figure. 

Hope you were able to get things situated with your mother and feeling better.

You are like we are, our fur babies are loved as much as our real babies. I am just so grateful for the years I had with Teaka. My new baby Gracie is so wonderful. She is so sweet. Things are  moving along with my Mother. She is very happy where she is living. My father is getting worse. One minute he is in the here and now and the next he is well on some other planet. That is hard on my Mother. He was always so smart and in control. They have been married for 60 years.Iam very happy with the guardian services. She is really protective of her clients. I saw her interact with another of her clients at the court when we were there for my Mother.  

I hope things get better and settle at work for you. You  really need to have time to relax and have some fun. You know what they say about all work and no play. It is true!
