IT IS SO GOOD TO BE HOME!

I am home from Las Vegas. This trip went so much smoother. I have to say I am so glad to be home now. The guardianship hearing went smooth. I really like the in-state guardian we hired for my parents. She is taking over their finances and that is a big stress off of me. My little sister did not show up at the hearing and that was a relief. And best of all I did not end up in the hospital this time!!!  Last night we went to Mimi Cafe and I had shrimp on a grilled shrimp in a creamy basil sauce and I even had some salad. It was so yummy and I did not have any problems with it! I can't wait to get all caught up with everyone on the board!

Welcome Home Elizabeth.  I know it must be a great weight off your shoulders to have a conservator taking care of business for your parents...see you're still losing weight! lol

It is a great relief to have the conservator take over. My parents tend to do the opposite of what we advise them to do.

My weight seems to flucuate between 117 ands 119. I think I have lost enough! I never thought I would hear myself saying that. LOL I told my husband that if I would have been eating right this is probably what I would have weighed all along. Oh well, that was then and this is now! LOL

Is you husband getting ready for duck season. Mine has to get his decoys out at his duck club. He has been so busy he hasn't had time. They are getting ready to flood the duck ponds and he wants to have them in place before they do that. Maybe this week he will be able to get to it.

Duck hunting?  You should see the eyesore in my back pasture all in the name of duck hunting!!
They welded onto a full size boat trailer making a 10' tall rolling / floating duck blind.  I'll add a pic to my profile just for fun.....I'm sure it will make your hubbies obsession appear mild and make you feel lucky you're not me!!
