Please take a moment to remember what happened here on USA soil 9 years ago,  and all that where lost that day and many many day since. And all of the men and woman that are still fight to keep us safe.

So I have not been on the boards since WWW. Well on Thrusday, I went into work at 11 and worked until 3  and then at 5 went out for a run.....8 miles DONE!!! Friday I had to attent two classes for my job. Both where about call Food Inc. part one and part two. I was not sure want I expected to see, but It was not a movie show how bad the meat packing plants are. Or how bad they are to the animals. I will never eat tyson foods every agian. I don't this it would go down, nor stay down. UGH!! The classes was just not what I thought it was going to be, but I am not sure what I thought it would be either. Hmmm..

So today is back to work. Oh joy!!! Ohh I almost forgot, On Thrusday when I got home from running 8 miles, I find the water off. OMG!!.. WTF???? We had a mian pipe blow right out side my front door, This was not a good thing. I had to drive to a friends house for a shower, so I would empty the room on Friday. They got the water on yesterday late yesterday, I was thinking I would need to rent a room so I could shower for work today. I am happy I didn't have to do that.  This is the 3rd time this year that had happened here in the complex. I think its time they take a deep look at that. Last time we no water for 3 day. That is just not right. WRONG!!!! deeply Wrong.

What do you have planned for the weekend? Any thing fun that I would love to hear about? I am sure any thing would be fun other then work. So do share...

Good Morning Lu and Cali Friends,

Lu so glad you have your water back on and yes, prayers still being said for the victims and families who suffered in the events of 9/11 and for our armed forces who continue to work to keep our homeland free and safe.

Not much planned for this weekend, a trip to Costco, support group meeting this morning and who knows what else.

I hope everyone has a wonderful week.  Go out and do something nice for yourself and make sure you tell your family how much they mean to you!  Please also say a prayer for all the families affected by the horriffic San Bruno fire.

Good Morning Lusty Lu, Barb, and Cali Board.

Today I plan to unpack and rest. Does that sound like fun. Gracie got me up at 4:30 a.m. to go out and then she was ready to play! She is just so cute! Indie, our lab, slept right next to me all night. I could not move. Boy is it great to be home or what!!

I am glad they got your water back on. That is just too long to go withou****er. I agree it is wrong.

Barb have fun at your support meeting.

I am seriously thinking of taking the support group leader training and starting a group here in town. Does anyone know how I go about finding out about the training?

Good Morning Everyone!!!

It has been one of those weeks for me, and hubbys days off, well werent really days off, at least his second one, we went up to Jamestown on thursday and had a blast looking through antique shops.Back to the usual today though, Cleaning, Helping out my grandma,sorting through more stuff, I decided im going to redo what i can of this house some paint, new curtians, should work, my landlord told me that he will give me all the money plus 150 off my rent for painting :-) whooohooo, now to get the time and energy! LOL

Lusty Lu, It is against cali renters law for a landlord not to provide water withing 24 hours, He/She has to give you bottle water, and a way to use your bathroom and shower, I would get a tenants handbook (barnes and noble) copy the page and give it to them,LOL


Lots of lives were lost in 9/11 everyone needs to take a moment today and say thank you to the men and women who died and who are serving this country and to the families of the victims. I do beleive there should be a holiday for this tradgey and these people honored.

Good Morning,

Today is going to be a super lazy day for me. Earlier this week, I smacked the top of my head on the kitchen cupboard, and have had a headache since. (Gotta love having soild wood cabinets). So far this morning, it is just a dull ache in my head, and I'm hoping it stays that way or goes away all together. I can say, I have never had a headache like that before, and hope to never have one like that again. I was planning on going to my support group meeting then coming home and working in the yard and battling the weeds, but I don't think I'm going to move far from the couch today. I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend.
