Hey Cindy -

How are you doing?  How is the first few days treating you?

I am doing OK. No real pain, the liquid pain meds are pretty awful! I made a mistake and gulped my first dose and thought I was going to DIE, as you can see I did not in fact die but I spent several minutes with my head in a bucket hoping not to harf.  I have one kind of owie incision but it is not the one that Dr. Chu said would be hurting so I am kind of wondering WTH it is going on with it. I am going to take more meds and go lay down in a bit. Both kids are at daycare today so I am taking advantage of that and resting today and tomorrow.

If you have any concerns just call in & Dr. Chu's nurse Michelle will call you right back.  Dr. Chu is in the office today (Friday). 

My incisions are iching like crazy right now!

How are the kids holding up?  My oldest has kinda been acting out since my surgery.   Don't know what that's about.

glad you got it taken care of.  Fremont emergency is fast because they do not do major trauma (that is sent to Hayward).  I love it there (unfortunately we have been quite a few times between me and Ms V).  Keep up the routine, meds, protein, walking, water, sip sip sip.

I'm so glad you got taken care of.  That must have hurt!

I take my first dose of Protonix in the morning and have my iPhone alarm set for 4pm daily to remind me to take my afternoon dose.  I really need the reminder.
