Nor Cal Losers Lunch for Sept.

I can't believe this... my tri club is having their annual picnic on the same day! I haven't figured out what I'm going to do yet.

When is the Oct. one again?

I can make that. I was afraid it was going to be when I'm out of town.

It's too bad I can't make it this month, because I have some Halloween costumes to bring for the clothing exchange. I guess I'll send them to Goodwill instead.

Do you mind a newbie pre-op?  I'd love to join the group and see how all of you eat at a restaurant. 

I'm in the process of doing my pre-op testing and evaluations but will have my surgery with Dr. Morton at Stanford.

Absolutely, we'd love to meet you and give you all the support you want.  We even do a clothing exchange, so we hope you'll do some shopping too.... it's free!!!

I'm going to try to make it. I'm pre-op, scheduled for surgery on October 8th. I would really love to meet people here in the area that have already had their WLS. If I can't make it, I'll be there in November!

Thank you, Barb. I can come until 3, and I think my daughter will come with me. She is also planning to have a sleeve surgery in a couple of months.
