Good Morning Calif...........

TGIF TGIF TGIF Yap you got that right, its Friday. And then a 3 day weekend. One that I will have off. I am hoping to work tomorrow, but I don't know yet, they might cancel me, but will shell see.

Nothing much to talk about. I was off for the pass few days. I went and got my new running shoe and LOVE THEM yesterday we ran 8 miles in 2 hrs and 10 mins. A bit slow because of my noise. UGH, I had to stop and blow it like 20 times. This weather changes are killing me. UGH Anyway the run was nice. We ran later in the days and the weather was nice and cool. I am ready for the winter to get here. Or just cooler weather would nice.

So what have you been too? I would like to hear all about your plans for the 3 day weekend. I don't have anything planned right now, Might BBQ with friends, but never know until that morning. LOL

Good Friday Morning Lu and Cali Friends,

New running shoes.... cool! I want to go get some new shoes this weekend as I really need some new walking/running shoes.  Not too much planned thankfully.  A wonderful get together with friends on Sat. night we're looking forward to and other than that, we're working on the yards this weekend if it's not too hot.

Wow running 8 miles, that is a lot of miles!

Today I am getting a mani/pedi and having my face waxed. Having my face waxed is not fun but the things we do to look beautiful! LOL

I really don't have much planned for the weekend. I am flying to Vegas on Monday. I will be spending the week with my Mother and coming home on Friday.

Well that is about it for me.

Lu, I am in awe of your ability to run 8 miles. I want to be you when my inner-exerciser grows up!!
Barb, I've so missed puttering and working in my yard. I am hoping I get to do some of that when my mystery should affliction gets better.

Elizabeth, I hear you on the face waxing. I am very overdue for that appointment!! 

I'll be on our long roadtrip to Phoenix. Luckily we're flying back Tuesday afternoon. We'll be hanging out with my cousin and his family. We get to hang out with his two very rowdy and energetic boys ages 4 & 7. They are a lot of fun, but I get tired just hanging out with them! They never seem to stop moving or talking.

Finally a minute to say hello.  I have just been slammed with work from every direction.  Boy am I tired.  Very glad it's a 3 day weekend even though I do have work I have to do at home.

The new job is still good.  They keep me very busy.  The teaching job 2 nights a week is ok.  I'm not happy with the organization or the way certain things are going, but the students are very nice and eager to learn.  My personal tax clients seem to have "woken" up and as the corporate tax deadline is in a week and a half, I have now been slammed with a huge tax return to get done.  So that is pretty much going to consume my weekend. 

We are going tonight to the Improv to see Gabriel Iglesias.  We've seen him before and he is just hysterical.  He has such a wit and is so great at improv with his audience.  Where other comedienes stick to a "script", he plays off the audience so you never quite know what you are going to get and they have to drag him off the stage when it's time for it to end.  He always goes late. He's been there the last two weekends and all the shows are sold out.  Anyway, that should be a nice diversion for tonight and then I'll just sleep in a bit tomorrow.  I must go shopping for some new navy shoes this weekend though.  The ones I have are ready for the trash pile.

Oh well, time to get back to work.  I know I haven't been around here as much as I could/should be, but I'm thinking of you all and checking in everyday.  Hope everyone has a great weekend.  Enjoy the luxury of 3 days off.
