Excellent Family Visit with Dr. Koura

Today was family visit with Dr. Koura and Nut. All went really well. Dr. Koura says next time we meet will be right before surgery on September 15. My family liked him, they thought he was very professional and answered all their and my questions. Thank you, Dr. Koura!

Nut was great too... my family had a lot of question regarding what I could and couldn't eat especially my mom because she wants to cook a pot of soup for me. The Nut told her it would take me a whole month to eat a pot of soup, she told my mom to start with just a cup which would feed me for a whole day. Being the mom that she is.... she wondered if I could survive on so little. The Nut explained everything to my mom and eased her mind. I thought it was cute, my mom is 80 yrs old.

My parent say that no matter how old their children are they still worry about us. I know exactly how they feel. Sept. 15 is right around the corner. This year has gone by so fast. Good Luck with the surgery and remember we are here for you!

Thank you for your support and encouragement. I have 3 daughters and I tell them they will ALWAYS be my babies and I will always worry about them. So I can understand my mom's concerns. This year has gone by fast, hasn't it? Then I wonder why I have so many gray hairs!!!  LOL

How nice to have a family day to get everyones questions answered! My surgery is on the 15th as well - good luck we will be losers togther!

GREAT!!!! What time are you scheduled? My surgery is at 1PM. I told Dr. Koura to be sure to have a good healthy lunch first, no caffeine. LOL   I'll be thinking good thoughts for you. Keep me posted on how you're doing.

YEAH for an awsome visit. So glad to hear all went well and everyones questions got answered. I have been thinking of you and know your surgery is coming up quick. I will miss you at the meeting on the 18th, but look forward to hearing all about your success.
