Sorry for that, but I do read often. I just thought I would update you all for a moment...

I can fit into some size 18 pants (my cargos are 18's) but mostly size 20 pants. XL shirts...
Weight loss was minimal for the last few months, but I was thrilled to see I have lost a total of 30 pounds since surgery!!

Surgery was nearly 5 months ago. And I have finally lost more weight then I have left to lose!!!

I am still waiting on clearance to return to walking or bike riding.

I am so happy for your loss!! I hadn't seen any of your posts lately and wondered how you were doing. I am glad that you are doing well. I dont really post much anymore... Not much going on with me. But I thank god that my life has settled down and no more hospital stays for me.

Thanks me too. I am glad that the weight loss has started and my troubles are behind me. I was moving but now that I have the internet back I should be on here more often. I moved to Oklahoma but the cali boards are my home :)

Why are you not yet given clearance to walk or bike? I was able to walk after a week, and I've read of others who do the same; did you have some problems post-op?

Hope you get to be able to start hoofing it soon, it feels so good to get out into the fresh air.

Congrat's on your great progress. By now you should be able to bike or walk unless there is another medical condition preventing that.

I was able to start walking in the Hosp. little by little, then when I came home 2 days later I was able to go out walking for 15 minute intervals throughout the day for about 2 weeks before I picked up the pace. Two and a half mos. post op - I walked in a 5k.

Every surgeon and patient is different. Best of luck to you and please do keep us posted.

I had a heart rythem issues last month.

I might be here, more then likely.. I will be at the Paradise Pier Hotel. 6am if I am not mistaken.
