Susan,

Depending on how much fat is in the dip, you can sometimes mix it with meat or on cooked vegges.  I imagine it would be better with crispy vegges but just a thought.

Hugs,

Soy Chips are an idea.  You can get them almost anywhere, but Trader Joe's probably has the best selection.  A word of warning however, don't overdo it.  Stick with just a few and be careful of what is in the dip.  Just because it's made with protein powder in it, does not mean it is not high in fat.  Fat calories will not only stall your weight loss, but most RNY people dump horrendously from too much fat.  And a fat dump is just awful.  So, just be careful.  Also the chips can be addictive because they go down very easily.  Don't get into a habit of eating those foods that feel good going down.  It will come back to haunt you in a few years.

Thanks Everyone!!

The dip was made from fat free sour cream I think its just a packet of hidden valley ranch dressing with some addtl spices in it, I wasnt planning on making a habit of it, i just see it sitting in the fridge and dont want it to go to waste :-)

OK, I'm going to be a little tough on you.  You MUST teach yourself that just because it's in the fridge and you don't want it to go to waste, is not an excuse to eat it.  The starving children of the world will not be any less hungry if you eat whatever it is that is sitting in your fridge that is going to go to waste if you don't eat it.  You know what, so it goes bad or you throw it away.  The police, your mother, or the nasty teacher from school will not scold you if you don't eat it and throw it away.  If it is tempting you because it is in your fridge and it's not the best thing for you to have, then throw the whole batch of the crap down the garbage disposal.  Not wanting to waste food is part of what got you here.

CHANGE YOUR HABITS NOW.

OK, I'm done yelling.  I'll go back to my corner and wait for my next opportunity to yell at someone else.  Nobody listens to me at home when I yell so I have to try somewhere else when I get the opportunity.  Seriously though, I don't mean for you to think I'm being mean to you, cause I'm not.  I just want you to understand that if you change your mental attitude towards food now, you'll have a much easier time of it later on.

Yay, Stephanie!  I've been known to wash cookies down the drain, and once did the same thing to some ice cream!

Now I have to figure out how all those corn chips find their way into my hands!!! It's as if I'm in a trance and just put them into my shopping cart.  Scary.

Well I threw the dip away, there was no point in keeping it due to the fact there was hardly anything i could have with it. Oh well :-)

Good Girl.  I'm so proud of you.  If I could hug you right now I would.  You'll just have to settle for a cyber hug {{{{{{SmurfSmurf}}}}}}}.
