Good Morning Manic Monday..........

Yap you read that right, Its Monday, so get your behind up and get ready for work. UGH!!!! I know I used a four letter word, but I don't know any thing bigger. LOL

WOW this weekend went by so fast, I didn't get a chance to enjoy it. I work right though it. I missed the whole thing. But after today, I am off for 3 days. I love that furlough time. Just hate missing the pay. Cant we have the time off and still get paid?

So I don't have much planned for today, other then work and more work. LOL. Its the end of the month tomorrow, I wont be there, lets see how much gets done. I bet none!

What are you plans for the week? Anything great, new and shareable?

Elizabeth................I don't know if I work Thanksgiving or not. But if I dont, I think I am going to do the do. If I am off, I would have lots of time to work everything out. It would be fun I think.  Girl give your body time to heal. Have you heard you just had surgery? Even if you feel fine, give your time to heal.

Barb............I miss having home grown anything. I do have a small tomatoe plant, that I have gotten 3 tomatoes off it. but my yard is just to small for much more. Next year, I am going to get some bigger pots and do a lot more. IF you need to send some fruit my way, let me know I will send you my address. LOL

Nancy........Sound like you had a great 10 days off. So how was the food at the Dead Fly? Did you have any flies in your meal? lol...I once eat the Bloody Bounty...Other then the name, was nothing to take about, I would not go back. Once was enough. LOL I am off next weekend also, but I am hoping to pick up one day of over time to cover my forced day off. LOL Have fun at work.

Susan............Man do I hear ya with the dog/cat hear. I have yet to find something that does the work like it says It does. I went to the 99 cent store and picked up some lent brushes, that helped, but not much. IF you find something, let me know. Have a great day.

Delores..........Sounds like you had a great vac. IF you have to sit on the suit case to close, that proves you was a busy shopper. I wish you and DH a great "alone time" So what was so great about NYC pizza that make them so much better?

Annette.......everyone needs a veg day. I think I might have one tomorrow, after I run my 4 miles. A must do thing. But after that, I might get back into bed and pull the covers over my head. What do you think? Sorry you had a bad week, but now its over and its time to get back into living life.

Good Morning Lu and Cali friends,

Sorry you missed the weekend Lu and hope you will enjoy your days off coming up.

Tomatoes and most vegges can do really well in pots, the secret is to water them regularly and feed them.  Vegges don't like their leaves watered, so if you water them from the bottom they'll do pretty well.  Our plants are close to the end of their season, but they still want to produce.  I'll have to take a pic of what we picked just yesterday, it is amazing!  I'd love to send you some but I'm afraid it would be V-8 juice by the time it got there!

Well back to work today and hoping this week goes by fast because next weekend is a 3 day one and nothing planned (so far.)

Hi Lu and the rest of all you lovely Cali folk,

Boy did the weekend whiz by or what?  It just went too darn fast for me.  I did get to see my son over the weekend though and that is always wonderful.  He was working in my area on Saturday so called and asked if I would like to take him to lunch.  What a bugger.  LOL  But of course I said yes and we went to BJ's.  He loves their Fish & Chips the skinny beast that he is.  The funny part of the lunch was that it was so obvious our waitress was flirting with him.  So I said he should do something about it and his answer was that he was not about to be "picking up chicks" with his mother there.  It was really very funny.  Too bad though, she was really cute.

Yesterday I did absolutely nothing.  I was suppose to do laundry and forgot all about it.  Good thing I have a large supply of underwear.  LOL  Oh well I guess tonight will be about some laundry.  Yuck.

Anyway, time for me to get busy here at work.  I can't believe it's Monday already.  Hope everyone has a great day.

Morning Lu and Cali,

Well NYC pizza is supposed to be the best.  I usually do not touch it, but when in Rome!!  I got a stuffed piece that was enough to feed a family, it had cheese, ham, sausage, and onions.  it was gooey and wonderful (only $4.50).  The piece did not even fit on the plate!!  but like I said I had about 4 bites and called it a day 9I was stuffed).

Today it is back to the grind stone.  It is coming close to our fiscal year end and every thing has to be done.  I will be gone most of September so that means I have to get at it.  Oh well, at leave vacation is close!!  Puerto vallarta here I come!!

Hello Everyone!!!

Lu, target has these great big lint rollers on a pole that are just perfect for getting the hair off furniture and the floor there about 11.00 and 5.00 for the roller refill they work if you do it a couple times a day, LOL Im going to buy that thing you see on tv when it gets to walgreens!!

This week is going to be super busy for me, today I have lab work ( my surgeon dont do labs till one year so my pcp is doing it for me) an xray on my leg (tingling sensation annoys me) and the chiro, then off to see elizabeth for a few min!
 My mom is redoing her kitchen so I have to help her sort through things and get organized ( the other day i threw food away from when i was in highschool...LOL) and my grandmother is expecting company so my sister and I have to go over there and get to cleaning sooner or later.

Hey Lusty Lu and Cali Board!

Good Monday morning! Oh Lu, I knew better than to eat that garlic bread but I wanted a different taste! Boy did I pay for it. I hope you have a good 3 days off, but you know it does not make since that they give people a furlough day and then pay overtime to cover it! I know if it doesn't make since then that is what they do! 

Today I have done laundry and played with Gracie. I am going to do some cooking for me this afternoon and SmurfSmurf is going to stop by for a little bit. I do enjoy our time together. She is so funny. I wish all of you could be here too!
