Good Morning Calif.........

Its Sunday already. WOW! this weekend is flying by. Last night after work, I came home and took Frankie and Chloe for a walk. It seemed like something was missing. As much as Fresser hated geting the harness on, she loved going for a walk. Time heals all wounds.

Yesterday at work, its was a slow day. I left most of my wor****il 6, then I had to rush to get it done. It made that last hour go so much faster. OK its was a risk I took, because we could of had a rush of pt and I might not have gotting the work done. But that didn't happen and I was able to get it all done. 
 
I want to Thank you all for your love and support with the loss of my little girl. Your understanding about this matter helped me to be ok with not being ok. Does that make since? Thank you!

Shelley..........what a great story about your dog. I am very happy for that she is still doing so great. I wish her a very long healthy life.

Barb........I bet your yard is looking great and I really can't waiting to see the pictures when you are done with all the work. So are you going to get the to rest and relax? And dan it, get all that laundry done?

Annette..........After this past week, I would not want to be in your spot. I had a hard time making the choices I made, and of course I was put tons of stress of my self, thinking I made the wrong choice, I should have tried one more time, see if she just needed one more day to let the medication work. I beleave I made the right choice, but doubt sets in. So did you make it to the LB coffee?

Elizabeth...........how was the family diiner? Your are right, its great to have family around. I am wanting to do thankgiving here at my postal stamp home. I think it would be fun. But alot of work, that I think I am up to. Of course I have never done it before, so I could be on crack. What do you think?

MsBlue.............I am sorry for your pain, and I do so hope that you see the end of this very soon. I don't understand why its taking them so long to help you. If you are in great pain, that could couse you to be depressed and you should ask your dr for something for that, before it gets to deep. I wish you a pain free day.

Katt.............thank you for you kind words. You have not been around much, how are things going with you?

Susan........my Fresser was a recue so I don't know how her life started, but I do know how it ended, and I think I done a great job with her, she was getting skinning with her skinny pill. (thyrod) and she was smilling more and more every day. I just wish they could talk, then I would go and find the none nice person that hurt to begain with. I do not understand how anyone could hurt something that so loves humans. She was a great little dog and I was blessed to have her in my life.

Steph............yes, you have shared you love with me yesterday. And right now, I am no in the mind set to even thinking about another dog. I still my Frankie and Chloe to love. I might in a time, but not right now. Thank you for the offer. As you said, he would have a great home, but sorry. I think you should ask the others, they might be ready to offer a great home.  So are you holding out for Mike to let you kick it on a your princess pillow? If so, found out if he would like a Jr princess and I would drop all and come running.

Ok Its time to get my butt moving, I fear if I sit here to much longer, I might find myself sleeping when I should be at work. Dang it, Them dang bills are keeping me from being lazy. They all demend payment. SHOOT!!!!

Good morning Lusty Lu and Cali board,

Lu I think you would have fun doing Thanksgiving at your house. Are you off work? I would make sure you have enough time off to do everything because if you are rushing around you will be too stressed out!

We had a good dinner last night and it was wonderful having my family together. Last night I decided to try a piece of garlic bread. Boy I should not have done that. It hurt and I had so much gas! I am glad I can't eat it though. I don't think I will try anything like that for a long time again.

Good Morning Lu and Cali Friends,

I hope you enjoy your day today Lu and that time will heal the loss of Fresser.  Yesterday got so much done, it felt so good.  Laundry done, fruit trees planted, dinner in the crock pot and shopping at Costco and WalMart.  Whoot!

I will surely take pics of the yard, OMG the corn is higher than an elephant's eye now!!!  I do have to apply some organic spray to get rid of the aphids that have taken up residence in the tassels though UGH.

Last night for dinner I made some of our homegrown butternut squa**** was SOOOO yummy.  I put butter and a little bit of brown sugar and cinnamon and baked them for almost an hour.  Oh my tastey!

Well I think it will be pick tomato day cuz they're loaded again.  I hope everyone has a fantastic Sunday and remember to do something nice for just you.

Hi Lu...just wanted to skip in and pass on my sympathies on the loss of your Fresser.  I so understand that feeling of 'something was missing'...just seems there is a 'hole' that the other pets can't fill.  Time does heal but it sure seems to pass slowly at times.  My heart goes out to you.

Today is my last day of a wonderful 10day vacation...spent some time up in the foothills at our 5th wheel, went for a nice scooter ride to the town of Plymouth for lunch (get this..the restaurant is called :The Dead Fly LOLOL) and today is sitting around just relaxing.  Tomorrow is back to 'reality' of work and normal routine.  Best part of this upcoming week is that next weekend will be a 3day weekend.

Glad yo have a good vacation.  We missed you both at lunch last weekend.  I won't be there next month, I am going on vacation.  In October we are having rick's parent's 50th at our house.  so won't see you all until November.  maybe we can meet up in Sac for lunch or dinner some other time?? Today has been a massively busy day for me, This morning I had to deal with my m-i-l being her usual drama queen self, then had to get hubby off to work, then my errands began, Good news is that I bought new gym pants as my old ones are  big and fall off as i walk, LOL Now I need to clean, I really wish someone would invent something that picks up dog hair like one of those robotic vaccum cleaners!!! Hope everyone enjoys the rest of their sunday!!!!

Well hello Cali and Lu,

I made it home from NYC fine.  I had a great week.  I walked almost 5 miles each day.  I did have a piece of NYC pizza, well a few bites anyway.  It was wonderful!!  I almost had to buy another suitcase I did so much shopping.  I just tried to to keep moving when I was not in class.  I was exhausted when I got off the plane yesterday (sitting for 5 1/2 hours) is not my idea of fun!!

Now DH is on the road for training (we have been like to ships in the night crossing).  We will meet up in so-cal on Thursday (some alone time with in my Z3).

My week was hell, and I don't see a light coming anytime soon.  That's ok, my job is pretty secure unless the owners decide to just close the doors.  I don't see that happening any time soon.

The weight gain is mind boggling.  As of today I am up 8 lbs..  I had to finish working on a very large project today so it could be in e-mails by 6 am tomorrow.  This took up about 5 hours of my day today.  I think am going to start taking my sneakers to work and if it is not too hot, go out for a walk at lunch time.  Hopefully this will help me to get this 8 lbs. off.  I guess this is what I get for bragging about not having 1 single problem with my surgery, w/food, strictures, dumping, etc.  It is now coming after me because I have become very comfortable with it and food.

As for coffee, I did not make it.  I stayed in bed for quite some time just playing on the computer.  I really wanted to go so I could see Christi, but I really needed to stay in bed as well and just veg out.

Well, need to check the rest of the boards.
