Anyone had there WLS

anyone had there WLS at Pacific Bariatric in san diego , ca??

 I had my sleeve gastrectomy June 25th of this year with Dr. Zorn of Pacific Bariatrics in San Diego, had the surgery at Scripps hospital in San Diego. Everything was great, no complications or complaints.

I too had my surgery with Dr.Zorn @ PB in San Diego.  The hospital is clean and alot of the staff is friendly. They have you start walking ASAP so at first you walk the hall then once you feel like you can handle it you take the elevator all the way up to the roof for a better walk.  At least you can if you want to. bring someone with you though, you have to have them help you pick the IV up through the elevator and hold the door for you when you walk through the eating area (watch out for the vending machine! LOL)  A few people i know had your doc and said they liked him as well and we noticed they didn't have  as much  gas with him vs. zorn. they tell you walk walk walk to get the gas out, i did 11 laps the first day on the 5th floor and 19 the second day on the roof and i didn't toot the hole hospital stay, maybe it help maybe not. kaiser had me do 6 months of options and lose 20% of weight. the only thing that PB cared about was that we didn't gain any weight from first appt. weigh in with PB, not the 20%  from kaiser, then they had me do all 3 appt during that weigh in the phyc evaluation the surgeon and the other doc. then they have you take milk of magnesia the day before the RNY, and drink a lot of water.

They  (PB) are having me get a echo of my heart and get my umbilical hernia fixed first

kasier had me do the echo and a galbladder ultra sound done but I had no hernia. you will do fine. good luck
