Hello!!

Im curious if anyone has the sketcher shapeups or the reebook version of these shoes? I'm interested in buying some but dont really want to spend a 100.00 if they dont work. Please let me know if you have them and if they actually do something, also has anyone tried the shake weight??

I don't have the Sketchers or the Reebook shape up's but I do have the MBT"s which are the very first shoe of that kind (They are a complete investment! they run about $250) & totally love them.  I do notice a diffrence when I walk in them.  One bit of advice is you have get used to them.  I made the mistake & walked 4 miles the first time I wore them.  I could barly walk the next day.  My legs & abs were so sore!!  That was proof they work for me.

I don't have the shake weight..  I'm also courious about it also.

I'm going to invest in some MBT's but I'm not sure which pair or "model" is best.  Do you think there's a difference?

I don't know if there is much of a difference. I ended up getting the Sport 2 in white.  I wanted to get the Fora in black, but the didn't have my size & I was leaving for a trip the next day.  In a way I almost wished I had just waited & ordered them.  I just like the way the Fora looks.  I got mine at the Walking Company.  The sale people there seem to be very knowledgeable, I would ask if there are any difference in the styles.

If you get a pair, I hope you love them as much as I do. :)

They didn't have my size in stock either, but they have free returns to stores so I ordered foras online.  I like the way they look too, like "normal" shoes!

I have the sketcher and I find I can only wear them when I am walking. If I wear them all day my knees hurt.

So Elizabeth do you think if you have bad knees its not a good idea to buy them. I have very bad knees no cartilage.

Hi....I have the Sketchers and the Shake Weight.  I love the shoes.  I find they do make a difference when I walk.  They come with a DVD that gives further information about the shoes and stretching.

The Shake Weight I bought with at coupon from Bed, Bath and Beyond.  I like it.  I too comes with a workout DVD.  The exercise routine takes less than 10 minutes.  I feel the muscles in my arms burn-a good thing.  I think it makes a difference.

Thumbs up for both.

These type of shoes are considered a specialty type of shoe, and it's unlikely you'll find them on sale very often.  Wt loss surgery does cause the patient to incur some expenses that you would not otherwise have.   My sister in law works for the TSA at LAX and has worn the Sketchers in the black color for about a year. I remember her mentioning how well she liked the shoes the last time I saw her.  Dave
