OMG its Saterday

Good Morning Calif......

I hope you all had a great night. I didn't go to bed until after 11 but that was because what was on TV. not because I was not able to sleep.

Hey Steph are you ready? I will be leaving in just a bit of time. OMG OMG OMG OMG I can't believe its finely Saturday. It took years for this day to get here. I can't believe how my family is acting. I sent her for two flipping week to Idaho and she is having cows about me going to for 3 days. GET OVER IT, you are not going!!! Oh by the way, I am the one in the Jeep....slowing down for you to jump in. LOL

Mommy........Sounds like you and MsV had a great time at the water park. And of course you had to keep her busy and company, so you had bit of fun also. LOL How was your dinner with your friends?

Elizabeth.........my hair is red. I mean RED. and I love it, to bad red fades so fast, but this time next week, it will be just a nice strawberry blond, I think. I am glad you are taking it easy and not over doing it, take the time and rest, let yourself heal.

Eileen...........I am sure you and your friend will have tons to talk about and you will keep each other so busy. I have never been to a B&B maybe next year, Steph and I will come and stay to the Eileen. If you have the room that is. I am sure you get over booked at times.  I hope you enjoy your weekend.

MsBlue..........I so remember the pain of having to deal with everything after the death of a loved one. I was the one doing with for mom and dad. Dad was a bit easier because by then  he was living with me and we had a ton of the stuff done already. Most every thing was in my name or in trust so it was not so bad, but mom. WOW...that was tuff. Just take it one day at time and keep pluging along.

OK If i don't start moving, Steph will beat me with her cup off coffee. I wish you all a great weekend and will talk/type at you next week.

WTF......I told you to sleep later because you were getting home late and then you stay up watching some stupid TV show.  Well, Well......I did the same thing. I'm not quite ready yet as I thought you weren't leaving your house until 8:00 so now I best get my butt moving.  I'm all packed except for my hair brush and makeup. Mike is still sleeping, so I guess I'll have to go wake him up so I can get dressed and get my suitcase out of the bedroom.
 
And believe me, it's not just DD who is giving the hard time.  You would think I'm leaving him here forever.  It's just a couple of days.  Wah Wah Wah.  Men can be so childish.  Don't tell him, but I do love him and will even miss him a bit.  A little bit.

OK, time to go.  See you soon.  And everyone else have a glorious weekend.  Lu and I will think of you every now and then.  Maybe between Pina Coladas by the pool.  Laughlin......here we come.

Lu you crack me up and make me smile in the mornings!!!  Thank you :-)

This is a busy weekend for me, got three things to do today but will only manage to get to two.  The Nor Cal Luncheon is today and since I've never missed one, I'll go for a half an hour and then go to San Jose for a cousin's bridal shower.  We have my step mom staying the weekend, so she and I will travel to San Jose and attend.  That should be fun, lots of cousins and family.

Tomorrow shopping and bringing my step mom home to SF.  Then it's back to work on Monday but I LOVE my job which makes Monday's not so bad.

Laughlin better watch out for you two!  Enjoy and forget about everyone at home, for the weekend anyway! 

Today I get to have lunch with the great Nor Cal group.  Me and Ms V.  DH found out he cannot go has another commitment he forgot about (men)!! We will enjoy our mommy daughter time.  We have had quite a bit this last month.  We are considering a trip for our two year anniversary of the group in May. 

I had some old friends for dinner and we talked until 10.  I was tired (I started work at 6 AM yesterday).  Today is low key just lunch and them back home.  Have to get Ms V's clothes ready for the week so DH will not have her wearing checks and stripes!!  Or let her pick something out (which could be just as bad!!).

I have a busy, busy day today. At 3:00 I have a Rubbermaid House Party at  a friend's. 5:00, is the Operation: Christmas Child Kickoff in Ontario. Then tonight is a concert in Fontana that is being promoted by a high school classmate who lives in Oregon. That starts at 8:00 til whenever. I am going to be so timred by the time I get home.

It sounds like everyone has busy, but fun weekends planned. I'll be sitting on a couch with a couple of kitties, a couple of good books and maybe a movie or two while enjoying vicodin and muscle relaxants. If I am not completely wacked out by the late afternoon, my hubby and I are meeting up with friends at a BBQ for a fire department up in the Santa Cruz mountains. I don't think I'll drink wine because the cute little stickers on my med containers tell me not to.

I am sure the NorCal lunch will be great as usual. I'll be there in spirit.

I hope everyone has a great weekend, sounds like some great plans!!

I really wanted to go to the luncheon but hubby wont let me drive that far alone since i still get tired so easily. So its another boring weekend for me, which is fine, im still recovering from all that walking in san fran on thursday, LOL

SO i guess i will just finish sorting through boxes and lounge around, its supposed to be a nice day ( not as nice as san fran, i want to go back, LOL) so im just going to relax and watch qvc, LOL

I am going to have a restful day too. I started having pain last night so I had to take a pain pill. I was very relaxed afterward. I can see why people become addicted! I don't like to take many of them.

Today is another day of rest. I hope everyone has a great day. Steph and Lu drink a pina cloda for me!
