Good Morning Calif.......

UGH! I so thought about calling off today. I was thinking that yesterday when I called into the "Bosses" office. I was thinking, "What did I do now?" I guess today they are going to be testing some new way of billing, and I am the lucky dog that gets to do the work. Oh over joy!! I guess its all good. At least I will know first hand how to do it. When I got called in and he asked me if I was working today, I told him I had asked for the over time, but no telling what will happen. He called staffing and told them to make sure I was NOT canceled. Ok will at least my furlough time is made up already.

So tonight I should run 3 miles, lets see how I feel after work tonight. I will run the 3 miles, that is a promise, it just will not be pretty. LOL

Spaz.........congrats on your very soon VSG. How did your appointment go with the doc yesterday? Welcome to the boards. All is welcome.

Barb...........My friend Cyndi loves planting anything, and watching them grow. She has the great before and after pictures I have ever seen. She has them posted in the living room and two nice frames. I wish I would think of something like that, I am like you, just start working and then think about it.

Kathleen........How was your days yesterday? Was it as great as you thought it would be? The next coffee will be sometime next month. I am sure Steph will post soon as we get back. It would be great to meet you also.

MsBlue...........how did it go yesterday at DMV? that place is a zoo at best, and I feel your pain of having to sit there. I hope it was not as bad as it could be with DMV.

Eileen........... I hope you are getting some rest and finding some "me time" Sorry you had to cancel your trip, maybe next time.  Enjoy your time

Susan............I am sorry your day was flushed with some bad things. I know this sounds wrong, but I hope she was robbed, then the day would not be so bad. I am sure you understand. If it was all made up, that would suck.  You are right, why not the charge cards? Makes you wonder that is for sure. I hope your DH does not get called in so you can make that trip to San Fran. I will think good thoughts about it for you.

Mommy...........Sounds like your dinner was lots of fun, glad you had the chance to visit with friends. That is always nice. I am very sorry for you friend. Just keep supporting her and being there for her and am sure with your help and that of her family and friends she will make it through.

Steph...............sorry you had a sucky day with the party. Sometimes family really do ruin the day. LOL I am off for the next two day, after today. So I will get the Jeep washed and pack my bag, and be ready to hit the door running on Saterday morning, With thinking or stoping. I will be there and so ready to go, it wont be funny. I hope you was able to get some sleep last night with out much pain. Have a wonderful day today and think happy thoughts of our weekend.

OK kids, time to get my self moving and hook up that IV and get the coffee into fast. LOL

Thanks for the great shout out Lu, much appreciated by all!!!  So glad you're the one who has been picked to learn the new system, more tools in the toolbox and a little job security is a good thing!

Yesterday my hubby started clearing ground for widening our front porch entry and steps.  He and our neighbor will pour the concrete and get it done... in 2 weeks cuz our neighbor is traveling for the next week and a half.  I am excited though and I think it will really be so much nicer than what was there.

Today through Thurs brings full training days at work.  We're converting to a new system and need to do some code building.  Speaking of tool for the toolbox!  I love seeing things from start to finish so I am looking forward to getting in an getting started.

Today is another trip to the city, three days in a row!  I need to start getting my stuff together for my trip to NYC.  Going to ride BART to SFO so I have to take my smaller suitcase, let's see if I can do it!!

   It is a lazy start to my day, and I'm loving it. I was up at 5am though, not fun when its your off day. We were even up before the rooster. Yes, I did say rooster. There is one that lives at the end of my street, and thank godness, he lives at the other end, because he is loud. I couldn't imagine living next door to him. I guess if I did, I wouldn't need an alarm clock.
    Not sure what I'm going to do today. I think a walk is in order before it gets to hot out. I'm a bit sore from the gym yesterday. I did calves and they are certainly not happy. I do need to do some of my education hours too. I worked on that a bit yesterday. Well, I hope you all have a fantastic day. Be good to yourself today!!!

Hey look at me.  I'm here before the sun goes down today.  Wow.  Actually just on my lunch now. I was busy eating and reading on my new Nook.  Oh I do love that little piece of machinery.  Had a few minutes left so decided to come on over and say hi.

3 more days of work and then we are "outta here" Lu.  I truly cannot wait to get there, put on my swim suit and head straight for that pool.  Just 3 days of R & R and a little debauchery thrown in.  I mean, it wouldn't be a Thelma & Louise weekend without some down and dirty fun, now would it.

Oh well, time to get back to work.  Hope everyone is having a great day.  I know I plan on making sure mine is.

 Afternoon all.

My appointments yesterday went smooth and easy.  Saw my PCP today for my pre-op physical which also went well.  She is super excited for me.  

I'm thinking if I can get all my work done tomorrow that I might take a full day off Thursday rather than a half day.
