Good Morning Manic Monday

Good Morning Calif........

Only 5 more working days for Steph and only 3 for me. My days off this is Wed. and Thrus. I am working over time tomorrow, unless the cancel me. I am hoping they dont, so that way my furlough day will be covered already. So think happy good thoughts for me.

Nothing big to talk about, just worked all day yesterday. And boy with school starting, the little tikes are coming in. I am sure today will be just as bad. UGH!!

When I got home for work last night, at 7:45 pm, I had to BBQ some chicken for my DD and her son, then I changed my clothes and headed out. Ran 2 miles. It took me 36 minutes and that is to slow, but I was beat last night, and felt lucky I got any miles in. As I ran, I would think, I am going to run to that corner and turn around, that corner would and come and go, and I would still be going. I would set a new goal, only to pass it. I was very proud of myself. I done the whole 2 miles. Yeah for me!! So I now have EVERY thrusday off, that is going to be the day we run our long miles. Had to twick the dates around, but it works for us. LOL

Barb..........Good Morning, welcome to this wonderful Monday Morning. How did the yard work go. Did you get a lot done? Hey did you take before pictures? So you can the change when you are done?

Steph.........I had DD rolling last night reading our post, she told me I should drive up honk and start counting to 6 seconds, then take off. LOL I would but I miss having you with me. How was the party yesterday? and did you leave by 4?

Elizabeth..............Soulds like you had a great anniversary. I wish you and our DH and great many more happy years.
I think the weekend boss are scared to step up and take control, or maybe they are not able to, because the "big" boss wont let me. I don't, but we have to many "bosses" that wont do anything. UGH!!

Gus............I know what you mean about the "Honey Moon" being over. I put on so much wieght when I broke my ankle at the first of the year, and was unable to do anything. I am running agian, and I am seeing the scale more, just not fast, but aleast its moving. LOL

MsBlues.......I remember the pain of thing after losing a loved one. I had to handle both mom and dad paper work and all the phone calls. Its takes a lot out of you. Draining is not a strong enough work. I wish you smooth saling with DMV.

 Good morning to everyone.  I'm new here.  Found the CA boards last night and was reading through some of them.  I'm scheduled for surgery on August 20.  I will be having a VSG.  

I hope everyone has a good Monday.  I'm off to the hospital for a blood type and cross match this morning and then this afternoon I see my surgeon one last time before the big day.

Front yard is coming along nicely.  Lu we do have some pics but as usual I should be taking pics before during and after and I always seem to remember when we're doing the last thing to complete the job!  Oh well!

Good morning to you too!

I'm up and dressed... ready for my conference call in 30 minutes and then off to a spa pedicure! A treat, yet not. I have toe nails that like to twist under... can't do them myself, so I combine a treat with a necessity! lol.

Then on to doing business.... Today is going to be an incredible day!

Lu, I know you are counting down to your holiday... you and Steph, even tho I only know you thru this venue, I know, are going to have a blast together.

When is the next coffee... I'd love to meet you guys in person... need to get the date on my calendar now.

I am off to the DMV and AAA to transfer my mom's car to my name and make sure it's insured. I just hope I can make it through the process without having a nervous breakdown. I am taking a book with me and I'll have my cell phone. I am having to use up another vacation day, SIGH!

I hope you all have a great Monday. I'll consider it a good day if I get the above mentioned task completed.

Good Morning All,

Monday already, the weekend went by to fast. Not that it really matters to me, I'm off all week. I took a vacation day and some education hours we get. I was supposed to go to LA this week, but we had to cancel. Oh well, that's life. I have no plans for the week. Just going to hang out and relax, and hit the gym. Not much going on in my world. I hope you all have a fabulous Monday.

I hate mondays, espically when your birthday falls on one! LOL This morning instead of my yearly call from my mom singing me happy birthday, my mother in law calls and tells us she just got robbed then hangs up,, we go to call her back and she rings the doorbell, Supposedly.....( my mother in law is a drama queen who thinks her son is an atm) she walked out her front door and a man snatched her wallet. So we spent half the morning canceling her atm cards. But yet, she didnt want us to cancel her credit card, odd isnt it? I just dont beleive her story I think she just wanted some more money as usual....

Anyway, on a happy note, my hubby told me today that he wants to take me to San Fran on thursday (his day off) for my birthday if he dont get called in to work so im excited.

Afternoon Lu and Cali,

This week has started out like  rocket!!  had a great dinner with some wonderful OH folks in the city last night.  Our PS surgeon was in town for a conference and I made reservations in china town for us all.  We had a wonderful dinner and great companionship sharing our PS stories!!

Now count down to NYC next week.  I am really bummed, my BFF was supposed to go with me.  She has to cancel her dad was just diagnosed with congestive heart failure and put on hospice.  She is running from her house to her parents without a breath in between.  I hope she can hold up through it all!!  I am sorry I cannot be there to help her (she is in so cal).  Her parents are like my parents ( I have know her since she was 12 and I was 13).

well better get back to work, just needed a little diversion for a minute.  Hope you all have a great day!!
