Yup! I made it out just fine - had it yesterday and was up walkin 3 times last night and twice today so far! No pain except gas - the incisions don't hurt they just itch a little! Good news is that I weighed 325 last wek and time of surgery I was 315...so I lost 10 lbs before hand =)

Hope everyone is well!

ALL exist very nicely in the same box.

Congratulations on your surgery. Now the journey begins. Walking is the best remedy for the gas. When do you get to come home? Keep us posted on everything. We are here for you!

I get to go home tomorrow! Thank you all for the prayers - I'm up walking quite a bit -- but my bloodsugars are siding towards low. I also have a slight butning sensation with cold liquids (water and jello) yet warm fluids are very comforting!

I did better with room temperature liquids at first. I was glad when I could go with ice as I love my water ice cold! Now even though you need to walk don't run any races because you  may not feel like it but you have had major surgery. Don't over due when you get home.

Congratulations!  Glad you are on your way to a speedy recovery. Take advantage of your honeymoon and learn new habits you'll adapt to in your WLS journey!

Congrats again!
