Good Morning Calif.........

So I ended up working on saterday so I missed coffee, but I want to know what dates where picked for the beach?

I was sunday and monday. Sunday I walked up a mountain, or tried to anyway. We wanted to walk up the side of the mountain, like we where gaots or something. Not much fun, but a dang hard workout thats for sure. LOL Then we went to the park where they where having jazz fest. Now that was a good time. Then on monday I had to have some lab work done, then Fresser had to have some blood work done, and then I had a doctor appointment. A very busy day. Then I went and got my nails done. They are all done up for our trip coming up soon. Ohh Steph, I can't wait. LOL

Ohh Steph, ........so how was your first day back to work....at your new job? I hope the drive wasn't all that bad and that they treated with kindnesss.

So what did you do over the weekend? I hope you had a change to enjoy yourself and relax.

Lu sounds like your days off were fun and a jazz festival.... I am sure that was great!

Today brings a day-long administrators meeting, so that should be interesting.  I am looking forward to it.  Other than that, not much going on.

Good morning!

Yesterday we drove to Bakersfield and got our new puppy. Gracie is so adorable! It was love at first sight! We had a great nights sleep last night too. We put her in a little kennel and put her in bed between our heads. My husband was afraid that she would fall off the bed if we let her roam. She is tiny. She cried for about 30 minutes and then went to sleep for the night and she did not soil her kennel. She and Indy (our lab) are great friends all ready. Today I will take her to the vet and then I can spoil her the rest of the day.

Hi all,

Today kind of sucks today. I am still having tons of pain from my sore shoulder and may cry uncle soon and see the doctor tomorrow. I've either caught a cold or I am having a massive allergy attack. I've been sneezing and blowing my nose like crazy, but do feel the other stuff that usually comes with a cold.

I don't feel OK taking a day off. I have take so much time off to be with my mom in her last few weeks and I've need to take a half day here and there to deal with her estate. I also need to take a day off next month to drive her car to Arizona and give it to a nephew she promised the car to. Plus all the people I have to deal with to transfer accounts to my name all required different information and some forget to tell you a couple of details which makes the process more cumbersome. It's been really hard for me to not punch out these people or scream expletives at them.

I've been terrible with my food for the past few days too. I am eating to soothe my frazzled nerves and deal with my shoulder pain. I don't want to, but it's so damn easy to indulge in my old bad habits. I can eat while I am sitting at a desk or in my car. I can't take a bath or exercise when I am at work or in my car. Maybe if I just accept that things suck right now and try not to alter things, that might help take some tension away.

Remember that things will get better you just have to get through this bump in the road. I takes time. Why can't your nephew come and get the car. It would be a lot easier on you. Hang in there sweetie!

OK, so I'm only 12 hours late.  Not too bad.  LOL 

New job is going good.  Nice place.  Nice people.  Lots of work to keep me busy and out of trouble.  The drive isn't all that bad.  Anywhere between 20 to 30 minutes.  Just depends on traffic.  The morning is really easy.  Just breeze right through.  I get off of work at 4:30 so I'm just ahead of everyone else.  So, all in all, a good move for me.

My car is really giving me a hard time though.  I took Mike's car on Monday and I'll take his car again on Thursday.  He's taking it into the transmission place to see of someone can figure out what is causing the issues I'm having.  I'm not holding out alot of hope for anyone to find it.  I mean the Ford dealer couldn't find anything wrong with it when I took it there.  I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I can't wait for our trip, Lu.  I'm getting more and more excited.  I do every year when it gets close to the time to go.  So as last year, I'll be sitting on the front step waiting for you with my suitcase. Just me and 2,000 cats.  LOL
