hellooooo cali! just saying hi
hi cali family! just wanted to poke my head in real quick for those *****member me. i celebrated my 3 years on the 3rd. i feel great and doing wonderful. this surgery saved my life and it created another life! i have a 5 week old baby. his name is Trenton Thomas and he weighed 7 pounds 14 oz.
life has been good and i met my soul mate and we were married on oct. 3rd. my oldest will be turning 12 in a few weeks and he enjoys being big brother.
anyway, just wanted to poke my head in. life is busy but great. i am on maternity leave and won't be going back to wor****il november 15th. i am enjoying time with my baby. my oldest starts middle school next week.
i gained about 36 pounds while pregnant and already have lost about 30. i joined weigh****chers a few days ago to get back on track and joined with my hubby. we are doing it together along with my mom and dad- a real family affair! my hubby has high blood pressure so with weightloss and exercise we are going to try and get that under control for him. i weight 20 pounds more then my lowest weight so i am hoping to lose 20. i gained about 10 which i am sure was muscle when i was training to do a half marathon last year. i thought i was going to lose more while training but i ended up gaining 10.
i think my biggest accomplishments the past 3 years since surgery is doing the woman's nike half marathon in san francisco and having a baby! oh and not to mention learning how to have a healthy lifestyle both physically and mentally. for all the newbies out there- get right with your mind and you will be sucessful and remember that this surgery is just a tool- use it wisely!
love to all and have a wonderful weekend.

My sweet Jaime,
First, the baby is gorgeous. What a cutey. I so wish you were down here. He'd have so many aunties and uncles. On second thought, you might be better off not. We'd drive you crazy. LOL
Secondly, we so miss you. We have started to have IE get togethers again. I just couldn't stand not seeing everyone on a regular basis. Today is coffee as a matter of fact. Maybe one of these days you can get down here....WITH THE BABY. LOL
You look amazing. All of us down here are so proud of all you have become. You have truly made an amazing life for yourself. You are an inspiration to so many and with all the new people on here, they all don't know everything about your story. I hope you don't mind if I mention that yes, you have been incredibly successful at WLS but you also delt with some transfer addictions. That being said, you dealt with that immediately and overcame all of that to go on to the life you now have. AND all in just 3 short years. You are one put together "hot mama". So people, listen to Jaime when she tells you that you need to "get right with your mind" to do this successfully. She knows what she is saying.
Love you sweet girl. Hope to get to see you again one day soon. AND BRING THE BABY. LOL
