My Surgery is APPROVED!!!

Hi Everyone~
I arrived home from work today and in my mailbox was my letter of approval for RNY! I am sooooooo excited.    I really tried to get the surgery scheduled during the time I was off this summer but..... well, that didn't happen.  Luckily, I have a wonderful administrator, she told me to go for it BUT.... try to work around high school progress reports, then she laughed, LOL. I said OK. Surgery will be around mid Sept.

Congratulations! This year has gone by so fast the time will be here before you know it. (Well at least it has gone by fast for me! LOL)

Congratulations. Get ready for a wild ride!  Remember to post as many questions as you need to on this forum. The support I received her before my surgery was great!

I am soooooo ready. I have wanted to do this for 5 yrs but due to 2 bouts with cancer I have had to put WLS aside. Now, everything is falling into place and I can't wait to join the losers bench.  I thank all of you for your support. I will update everyone as I travel through this journey because I couldn't go through this without all of you.

That's awesome!  Congrats on being approved and I know that the time will fly by.  Can't wait to see you in Aug to celebrate!

Marie..that is wonderful news!!  One suggestion...keep a journal!  One day you will look back and marvel at how the process worked and what you were feeling, thinking, anticipating, worrying about etc etc etc LOL  PM me if you want a local support contact>>>I think I already gave you my cell  ^_^  We're all in this together ;-)

Before I read your post, I stopped at Staples and bought a journal to do just that. LOL My feelings are all over the place so I thought I need to put this down on paper. I want to thank all of you. You have been so wonderful and I know if I have a question this is the first place I will go. I will be at the luncheon on the 21st, I want to meet all of you wonderful angels.
