Congratulations on your date!!!!    It will be here before you know it. Welcome back to the comfort and support of OH.

Currently, I'm waiting for my insurance to approve the surgery. I was told the decision would be this coming week. Due to my work schedule, I will be having surgery sometime around the middle of September. Because I have had many surgeries, I suggest you take something comfy to wear home. I, also, ditto what others have said, take slippers for your walking, a robe or something to cover your backside of those "lovely" hospital gowns you'll have to wear.   I've taken a book of Suduko puzzles just in case I feel up to using my brain but usually just rest. Definitely take some type of lip balm and I suggest taking some lotion. My hands, arms and feet would really dry out.

Congratulations!!! It is exciting!!!!

 Thanks for all the suggestions!! Def. gonna do the lip balm - I have a dry mouth issue anyways when I cant drink water - from my back surgery I can remember that happening as well.  I have my pre-op class (4 hours) on Tuesday. then the 18th I have to check in with dr. coirin and get my bloodwork done. So far I have five appointments set up for al of this...WOW!!!
