Hi Amy,

I am glad to hear you're home and you're doing OK.  Get ready for a wild ride. Remember to eat slowly. I had a couple of uncomfortable occurences early on because I forgot this rule. Be patient with your recovery. I over did it and did way too much physical activity just a few days after surgery. When they nurse told me to get up and walk around, she only meant in the house, not for me to take an almost mile walk in the neighborhood. I needed much more detailed instruction :-). I ended up with pulled muscles around my abdomen and pain that lasted for a couple of weeks.

Enjoy the recovery time. I read and watched a lot of movies.

Congratulations Amy! I have to agree you need to stay hydrated and get rest. You can walk around your house for now. You just had major surgery so don't over do it. Good Luck!
