Good Morning Calif......

I hope all is going great for everyone and you are keeping tha****er close at hand. WOW! can you say HOT!!! Summer is here.

Friday night, I went to my friends house at 7 and we where going to run 4 miles and I only made it 2. The smoke was so bad. She lives in Perris and there was something like 5 fires all around. The air was no good.Yesterday was the Inland Impire dinners. We had a great turn out and the company was great. We even had time to plan a few more outings for summer. So watch the postings. I am not sure who will be posting them so watch and read all.

Today I am back to work. But I only work today, then I am off for 3 days. Tomorrow, DD has some test done in Loma Linda and she has to have a driver. Since we are not sure about the test, and all that is in going on. I don't know how long I will be there. UGH! I hope its not hours. I get bored fast.

OK time to for coffee and shower. I wish you all a wonderful day and keep smart and hydrated.

Good morning Lusty Lu and everyone else.

I think my life is getting back to normal. I have a very busy weekend. I went to the Queens Council Luncheon yesterday. It is with the Red Hat  Ladies. I went with my Queen. (the leader of our group) I won a raffle prize. Some pretty kitchen towels. We took Lisa out for dinner last night for her birthday. (We took Chris and the grandkids too, of course) After dinner we went over to their house for cake and ice cream. I got a cake from Baskin Robbins. Ryan loved it. He loves to help blow out the candles.

Today I go to Cathey's Valley for my scrape booking class. I am looking forward to spending time with a couple of other friend's this afternoon.

One week from today I should be getting my new puppy. I am so excited. I miss my little Teaka so much. I know Gracie will never replace Teaka but she will help to fill the void.

I hope DD's test come out ok.

Hi all,

I allowed myself a mellow morning. I slept in, leisurely ate breakfast and read the paper in the back yard, but I am going to get back to doing things associated with my mom passing away. I have two packets of paperwork to fill out to transfer accounts to my name, I have things from her house in my house I need to find space for, and I need to spend some time clearing out things at her house. I am hoping to have an estate sale towards the end of summer. I also have to meet with a CPA and a banker tomorrow while still going to work. 

I also hope to get some time in swimming at the gym though it's nice enough to do that at the beach today. I am torn between being responsible to my mom's estate and being responsible for my need to have down time. SIGH! I just have to remember to strike a balance. Something that is difficult for many of us on this forum!!!

I know finding a balance is so hard for me too. I do want to remind you that you need to take care of yourself too. You will get everything done, you don't have to do it all in this exact moment. I am trying to remember that in helping my Mother. Take care Rochelle!
