My first dish of 'food' was ricotta cheese w/spaghetti sauce mixed in, heated and parm cheese sprinkled on top... HEAVEN!! But that is more of a puree dish - for soft - I would go quiche, or custard...

I ate lots of yogurt (Trader Joes vanilla greek with fresh strawberries and/or rasberries) watermelon, puddings and jellos, cheese, oatmeal, cream of wheat, grits, applesauce, soft coked veggies like carrots, zucchini, califlour (sp?). The RNY board has lots of people who can advise you on what to eat and they have lots of recipes to share. Don't forget your protein shakes/drinks whatever and your vitamins. so important!
good luck!

I enjoyed applesauce, very soft flaked tilapia and tuna salad. Although salty, the develed meats were good (I also like liverwurst), ricotta and any mashed fruit with a little sugarfree vanilla syrup was devine! Creme of wheat and oatmeal with vanilla soy milk was good. To keep my potties going I enjoyed baby food prunes!
Enjoy
