Good Morning Calif......

So I was off this weekend, but called in both days. UGH! (Luaghlin here I come) Yesterday was a day of sleep for me. I did get up and run my 3 miles. I left the house at a little after 7 and was home before 8. The weather was great nice and cool and not very many poeple out on the roads. Seen lots of other walkers/runners, but not so many cars. Which helped with the air being clean.

Today is back to work for two days, then I am off for 3. I was so tried yesterday, I kept thinking it was tuesday, and could not understand why the program I watch on Tuesday where not on?  It took like 3 times of DD telling me it was NOT TUESDAY!!!!

I can't wait to see everyone at the Dinner on Saturday. If you are still sitting on the fance about coming, Drop your butt on over that fance and join us. I promise you will have tons of fun.  I am mean after all, I will be there

Wow Lu, I bet your days off can't come soon enough.  I hope you enjoy them once they do get here.

Yesterday was a training day as will all the days for the rest of the week.  Lots of listening to the speakers and the peanut gallery!  I am learning more about the system though.

Tonight I am supposed to pick up our new canopy swing on the way home.  I am excited cuz I like it and I think it will be really cute in our backyard.

Well It's time to get moving and shaking for the day.  Hope everyone has a great one.

Good morning Lusty Lu! I hope you enjoy your days off too! I hope they do not call you in so you can have some fun! I forget what day it is all the time. (since I have been retired, ok I will stop bragging now!)

Well today brings housework, finishing up the laundry, and grocery shopping. I think I will take out the trash too! Sound like so much fun. I also have some work to do on my Mother's thing. I am trying to do a little bit every day. I get so overwhelmed with it though. The case worker on the Division on aging in Nevada (I don't know the exact name of it) is going on vacation tomorrow and will be back on the 26th and I want to have everything mailed to her so they can try to get Metro to do an investigation and press charges against my sister.

So that is my  plans for the day.

Good Morning,  well ok, it's only Tuesday, but let's pretend it's good.  Yea Yea, I'm not having the best of days.  Still battling this yucky cold and now Mike has it as well.  Let me tell you, I could be at death's door and not complain as much as that man does when he has a cold.  Geesh. You would think he has the bubonic plague or something.  It's a cold for crying out loud.  The same cold, cough, sore throat, ear hurting cold that I've had for 2 flippin weeks.  Men...they are such babies.

Laughlin....did I hear Laughlin.  Can't come soon enough for me, Lu.  I am so ready to sit my butt down on a lounge by the pool and burn myself to a crisp.  Now don't get all up about that, I don't really let myself burn.  I'll put on my sun screen and even find a shady spot when I know I've had enough.  I'm guessing that shady spot will probably be in front on some penny slot machine, right Lu.  LOL

Nothing special planned for today.  Just work and then home.  B O R I N G!!!  LOL  So I hope everyone has a great day.  I hear that summer weather has finally reached us here in So Cal.  Guess it's time to put the A/C back on.  Stay cool and hydrated.

Hey there everyone! Today will be a very good day....I'm going with Anna to her last OBGYN appt to talk about the final details of her pregnancy since the little sucker has breached...ughhh....

I just got home from the gym and now off the Kaiser!  Have a great one.

Good Morning Lu and Cali Crew,

Stephanie, sorry to hear you have a cold. I ended up with Bronchitis last week. Not fun. I hope you feel better soon. Today is day 8 of 9 days off. It has been so great to be off from work. I did manage to get a lot of things accomplished. I have someone coming to pick up some things I don't use anymore. It is so great to purge. Its going to the needy, so hopefully someone will get some use out of the stuff.  I'm also headed to the gym this morning, hopefully my trainer will take pity on me and not work me to hard. Other then that, I don't have much planned. It is overcast here today and cooler. Which is nice. I hope you all have a fabulous day

Mind if I jump in here??  Well I got to sleep in to 6:30 - took care of Momma's morning stuff (she has Alzheimers so things can get messy) and fixed her breakfast - into the home office to catch up on paperwork and order some stuff - lunch for Momma - the off to work with a stop at my volunteer job for some more paperwork - LOL - I'm almost glad to get to work so I can play on the internet - :) yeah rough job, but hey I get paid for it - LOL!
