Thank you for your support!

We got home last night! My son from Roseville and his girlfriend came home last night too and are spending the weekend here. It is so nice to see them. My son who lives in town and his family spent most of the day with us too. I need to go into the hospital more often! LOL

I am feeling better. I still have pain when I eat or drink. I have a doctor appointment on Friday.My DH drove all Tuesday night until about 3:30 Wed. morning to be with me. I have to tell you that I was so happy and relieved to see him. They released me Thursday evening and we drove home Friday. My DH rented a car trailer from U-Haul to tow my car so I did not have to drive home. Then my DH was passing  a kidney stone most of the way home on Friday.

 I tell you this trip was really the trip from hell! Just when we thought things could not get worse they would. I ended up having to stay almost 1 extra week. We got my mother into her new apartment and she loves it. We still have so much paper work to go through to see what all my sister has stolen from my mother.

All in all it is so good to be home! I am ready for life to get back to normal. It is these difficult times that make me really appreciate the good life I do have. It makes me appreciate my DH and my kids so much! 

I really want to thank everyone for their good thoughts, wishes, and prayers. They really helped me to make it through the last two weeks. Once again you guys proved to be such great friends! All of you are so amazing!

So happy you are home and feeling better. I hope that when you go to docs everything is ok. May god bless you and your wonderful family.

I am so glad you are at home.  Please try to eat and drink, it will help you gain strength (even if it hurts!).  I had to force myself to eat when I got my infection, so I know what you are going through on that front.  Let you kids and DH spoil you a little (I am sure you do plenty for them) I know I hate to ask for help but sometimes us mommies need it!!  Sorry to hear DH had problems too.

Thank you Dolores! I am glad to be home too. I know I need to push the liquids today. I am feeling very weak.

My DH and kids are spoiling me. Mike, my son, and Chee cooked dinner last night. I made a potato salad and brownies for dessert. He BBQed tri trip and vegetables and bread. They also made a spinach salad. I had some tri  tip, vegetables, and fruit. The salad smelled so good. My grandson loved the brownies! He loves chocolate, even though his parents limit his sweets, which is good, he does tend to get hyper with sugar.

My DH is feeling fine now. Once the stone passed the pain went away. He does this every now and then. It has to do with the cancer surgery he had.

Thank you Barb! I missed all of you too. Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers, I can't imagine making through the last two weeks without every ones prayers, good thoughts, and shakin chickens!! I told my husband I was glad this was not a gambling trip because with the luck I had I would have lost my shirt! LOL

My hubby and kids are spoiling me. They are so great. We are going with Chris, my older son, to take Ryan to see Toy Story 3 this afternoon. I think it will be really fun.
