I wanted to know if anyone had luck getting into seeing dr for first appt quicker then original date that was given to you when you first called for appt. I am wondering what the chances are of being called after someone cancelation? It does not seem that the office wants you to call them for cancelations??? Anyone got any tips?
Also how long was the wait from the first visit to the surgery date?

Hi Faedra, I am a Pacific Bariatric patient and I think if you let them know that you are interested in having surgery sooner than your scheduled appointment that they will definitely notify you when there is a cancellation. Also, make sure they know that you are available if they call you with a cancellation.

We could learn a lot from crayons:
some are sharp, some are pretty,
some are dull, some have weird names,
& all are different colors....but they
ALL exist very nicely in the same box.

I am a pac bar patient, I know that they have a lot of patients who waited until the summer months to have surgery so they were off or while the kids were out of school so the wait time is a little longer over the summer months. They helped get me in as quick as possible when I found out my insurance was changing, so I think they really do try to get everyone in a.s.a.p. Good Luck!
