Hiccups?
I am a year and a half out and I still get what I call the "hick-a-burps" which is usually an indication that I am full. You're doing just great, remember that everything is still swollen where your surgery was and that will take about a month or more to settle in.
Funny, my nose runs when I drink something hot! One thing you will find about this journey is that most people are affected differently by different things. Good place to come though for a variety of answers but your best bet is to always ask your surgeon for the final answer.
Hugs,
Barb

I haven't been around much, there are a lot that still know who I am, but let me tell you, I am over 3 years out and about 8 months ago I did that exact thing. Hiccip all the time, for no reason, not after eating just got them. Now whatever happened is gone. I am sure that everyone is different, but that is my experience!
I get the hiccups all the time, mostly after I have drank something. I only get about 4 or 5 hiccups at a time, but they happen all day. And the burps. Funny about the runny nose. I always have a runny nose now, and am always cold. Freezing. And my hps have really started to hurt, more than usual. I don't know why. All my joints feel sore, possibly because I don't have the fat for a cushion anymore. I'm not sure. I am a little over 4 months out. Had surgery back on Feb 23rd.
good luck! it will get better,.I promise.
