Got referral info

I feel so much better now. I called Kaiser this morning and they said I should be getting my referral info in the mail tomorrow. I wonder if it's a packet? Finally, I feel like I'm on my way but just to get my foot in the door-Dang!

It should be a big packet with a long questionaire. they will want a detailed history of your weightloss efforts, diets, counseling etc. They will also ask about your home situation to be sure you have a healthy support system. Answer the best you can, guessing the exact dates is ok. It is a good idea to make a copy of the questionaire for yourself too. They will reference it throughout the program. I heard that the orientation is on July 27th? I have another friend going too. I am soo glad you got an answer from Kaiser :)

Thanks! It's just such a relief. I haven't heard anything about an orientation(may tomorrow) but I signed up about a month ago to go to a free weight loss seminar at the DoubleTree on 7/27 for Pacific Bariatrics. I'm all excited!
