GOT A DATE !!!

My 3 year battle/journey is slowly but surely coming to an end.  An end to struggling with food and now hopes and dreams for a new beginning.  3 years ago i tried and failed.  lost my 10% and gained it back due to depression over failing the psych evaluation at Kaser Richmond.  So i gave up and gained another 100 pounds over the last 3 years.  Then A fed-Ex delivery man came into my office one day and said they switched to Kaiser SSF.  and here i am 7 weeks later with a date for surgery.  never in my wildest dreams did I imagine things would go so smoothly for me this time.  It is a blessing.  August 19 is the day  (6 week delay due to sleep apnea).  I dont mind the delay.  i still have 10 or 15 pounds to lose and 6 weeks to do it in.  Dr. Alami is a very nice and very busy man.  Everyone at Kaiser ssf is very supportive.  I look forward to a new ME !!!

Congrats  I hope everything goes smoothly for you. I know how you feel i am going through the same thing. I will keep you in my prayers.

Congratulations on your surgery date!  The time will fly by quickly and in the meantime we're here with all the encouragement and support you may need.

I hope you'll join us for our Nor Cal Loser's luncheons one of these months too.  A great group of guys and gals that enjoy getting together for support, friendship, lots of laughs and we exchange the clothes we're growing out of too, so it's a one stop shop for support and success!

Congrats again and way to go with sticking to it.  We'll be saving you a nice spot on the losers bench!

Congratulations on your new journey in life.  Like Barb said the time will fly by so fast!  I have complete faith in you that you can drop the 10-15lbs in 6 weeks.  It's amazing what we can do when we put our minds to it.

You can do it!! I am so excited for you.  I have been trying to get a date since September 2009 and finally have mine too. We are not to far apart mine is August 4th. I wish you the best luck!!! The before and after pictures keep me going.. ours will be on there one day =0)
